[player_tooltip player_id='1149630' first='Javeon' last='Campbell'] has continued to prove that he is one of the top overall players in the state this season. He lines up at defensive end where he is dominant off the edge as a pass rusher. Campbell is explosive out of his stance, and has shown the ability to use his impressive combination of strength and speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles with ease on his way to the quarterback. Javeon finished the regular season with 13 sacks in eight games. Campbell has also been a force against the run, shedding blocks quickly then getting to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle. He finished the regular season with 41 tackles and 16 tackles for loss, and also returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Campbell is committed to Kentucky where I can see him developing into a key piece of their defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1513805' first='Will' last='Richardson'] is a player who has jumped onto my radar this season with a strong senior year. He lines up at defensive end where he is a very reliable pass rusher. Richardson has shown the ability to explode out of his stance and use his speed to blow by opposing offensive tackles before they have a chance to block him. He finished the regular season as the 4A leader in sacks with 14 in 10 games. Will has also shown the ability to stop the run, finishing the regular season with 67 tackles and 19 tackles for loss. He has also played a role on offense, running the ball 14 times for 272 yards and three touchdowns while also catching 12 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown. Will doesn't currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player who college coaches should have their eyes on.

Jameaze Hollis is another defensive lineman who has jumped onto my radar this season. Hollis has shown the versatility to line up at both defensive tackle and end. He is very impressive as a pass rusher, showing the speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen and strength to bull rush straight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. Hollis finished the regular season with 9.5 sacks in 10 games. He has also shown the ability to stop the run, finishing the regular season with 48 tackles and 13 tackles for loss.
[player_tooltip player_id='1513806' first='Erik' last='Germann'] has had a very impressive senior year at inside linebacker for Boyd County. He is very reliable against the run, showing the ability to read his keys and come downhill in a hurry to meet the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle. He finished the regular season as the 4A leader in tackles with 132 along with 18 tackles for loss in 10 games. Erik has also shown the ability to rush the passer, coming away with three sacks so far this season. He has also made an impact on offense, carrying the ball 60 times for 282 yards and two touchdowns. Germann currently holds an offer from Marshall and I wouldn't be surprised to see more come his way as he has the talent to be a productive linebacker at the next level.

Baker lines up at inside linebacker where he has shown an impressive ability to put pressure on the quarterback when asked to blitz. He times the snap count perfectly and explodes downhill through his gap before the opposing offensive line has a chance to react. Colton finished the regular season with 10 sacks in 10 games. At safety, he does a great job of reading the quarterback and flowing through the secondary to put himself in a position to make a play. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown tremendous ball skills, finishing the regular season tied for the 4A lead in interceptions with six in eight games, returning one of them for a touchdown.
