[player_tooltip player_id='1530306' first='David' last='Smith']: Butler '26

Dave Smith is leading a rampage of an offensive attack for Butler this season. David has played to near perfection, as he has tossed 23 touchdowns to only 2 interception and 1284 yards. On top of it, David has been a threat on the ground as well as he has rushed for 376 yards and 3 touchdowns. It is no easy task to slow this aerial attack down; Glen Ridge will have to do everything it can to stop this undefeated Butler unit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1551126' first='Nolan' last='Walsh']: Bernards '27

An elite pocket passer, [player_tooltip player_id='1551126' first='Nolan' last='Walsh'] is another quarterback to watch out for as he leads an undefeated Bernards squad. While he isn't as shifty as other QBs on the list, Nolan has been extremely dynamic in the pocket, finding time to let his receivers get open and toss darts all across the field. On the season, Nolan has performed at an extremely high level as he has thrown for 1661 yards and 16 touchdowns to only 5 interceptions. Nolan will give Pequannock a host of trouble when they square off this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1546513' first='Casey' last='Grusser']: Ramapo '26

[player_tooltip player_id='1546513' first='Casey' last='Grusser'] has built up a lot of steam over the last few weeks ever since pulling off the upset over Passaic Tech. They are currently on a 6 game winning streak after losing the first 3 games of the year. A lot of the success stems from the play of their star QB [player_tooltip player_id='1546513' first='Casey' last='Grusser']. Casey has decimated defenses through the air and on the ground, as he has thrown for 1738 yards and rushed for another 568, and has also thrown another 14 touchdowns and rushed for another 8. 6-3 Ramapo is going up against an 8-1 Ridge, but with the momentum they've been building, they have a shot at taking them down.

[player_tooltip player_id='534373' first='Adam' last='Shaw']: Pascack Valley '26

In my mind, [player_tooltip player_id='534373' first='Adam' last='Shaw'] is one of the top QBs in the NJ 2026 class. Adam has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in 2024, leading Pascack Valley to an 8-1 record thus far this season. You really need to check out Adam's film to get a full sense of how exceptional his play has been this season. Adam is a tall, athletic QB with a cannon for an arm, and most notably, is extremely elusive in the pocket and when on the run. He has a great sense for the pocket and where the pressure is coming from, allowing him to step up in the pocket in a composed fashion and deliver strikes to his receivers downfield. Adam has thrown for 1028 yards this season and has thrown 11 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions. One of Adam's other great qualities is the workload he can handle as a ball carrier. Adam runs the ball extremely hard and doesn't shy away from contact, as he has rushed for 649 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

Running Backs

[player_tooltip player_id='311366' first='Steve' last='Klein']: Westwood 26'

[player_tooltip player_id='311366' first='Steve' last='Klein'] is one of the most talented athletes in the entire state. In this article, we will focus strictly on his performance on the offensive side of the ball, butt he may end up playing at the next level in the secondary. Steve has carried the rock with speed and authority all season long, and recently surpassed 1000 yards and is up to 13 rushing touchdowns as well. Westwood is going up against one of their toughest foes of the season thus far, as they face off against 8-1 Shabazz this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1529472' first='Aidan' last='Stieglitz']: Ridge '25

A big bodied RB that's tough to bring to the ground, Standing at 6'3" and 210lb, Aidan requires gang tackling to slow down his forward progress. He has the ability to lower his shoulder and deliver the hit to incoming defenders, making them think twice about going in high for the tackle. Aidan has been extremely reliable with the ball in his hands, rushing for 1124 yards and 19 trips to the end zone.

Farad Green: West Orange '26

West Orange has a gem of a back in their 2026 class. Already surpassing 1000 yards on the season, Farad has stepped up in a big way for his squad this season. Farad is one of the most electric backs in the north Jersey. Don't be fooled by his size, few RBs break tackles like Farad can. He has an engine that doesn't stop running until the whistle is blown, and can inflict damage to defenses in a multitude of ways. I feel strongly that West Orange's offense can help catapult their team to the next round of the playoffs.

Wide Receivers

[player_tooltip player_id='1012783' first='Anthony' last='Feaster']: Montville '25

[player_tooltip player_id='1012783' first='Anthony' last='Feaster'] is another one of the top athletes in the state. Anthony can really do it all for Montville, whether it's taking the ball out of the backfield or catching it down field, defenses have had trouble bringing him to a stop. As a receiver, Anthony has caught 43 passes for 622 yards and 4 touchdowns. When Anthony lines up in the backfield, Anthony has taken the ball for 475 yards and found the end zone 9 times. Anthony is a true swiss army knife for Montville and is extremely tough to contain, setting up a big challenge for Pascack Valley to contend with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1032189' first='Shakur' last='Taylor']: East Orange '25

A receiver that is well known here on Prep Redzone, [player_tooltip player_id='1032189' first='Shakur' last='Taylor'] is doing everything he can to end his high school career in a dramatic fashion. If there is one receiver I am confident can make a huge impact in their playoff matchup, I believe it is Shakur. He has all of the qualities needed to be a true WR1, and has the ability to extend that to the next level. In 2024, Shakur has caught 4 touchdowns and 550 yards. East Orange will need to rely on players like Shakur if they want to get past Ridgewood unscathed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1054149' first='Dante' last='Benvenuti']: Passaic Valley '26

Dante is another one of those athletes that predominately lines up from the receiver position, but can hurt a defense on the ground as well. Lining up out wide, Dante puts the jets on immediately and can catch a DB vulnerable if they are unable to get their hips turned around quick enough. Dante can accelerate quickly out of his stance and race to the open field for an easy pitch and catch. With the 28 catches Dante has this season, he has made the most of those opportunities by racking up 641 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. On the ground, Dante has also helped his offense by rushing for 215 yards and a touchdown. Passaic Valley has a tough matchup against River Dell this weekend, so they'll need everything they can get out of Dante.
