Today, I'm looking at which freshmen wide receivers are already making an impact. These guys have stepped up early in their careers and have made an impact for their team. They've got a ton of high school ball still ahead of them and are only going to continue to develop. Look for their production to skyrocket as the years go on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575583' first='Tylan' last='Henderson'], 6'1" 185, Weiss

A speedy wideout who can step on a defender's toes and shut down his route with no wasted steps. He looks the football into the tuck, he gets north and south following a reception, and shows some physicality after the catch. He's a super fluid route runner and has hands like stick 'em.

[player_tooltip player_id='1513823' first='Jaden' last='Hurndon'] 6'2" 180, Longview

This young man is extremely slippery with the ball in his hands and shows great contact balance. He has springy leaping ability and can go get the football at its highest point. He's a tough runner who doesn't concede on a play and has the body control to adjust to underthrown balls in the air.

Trent Jones, 5'10" 180, Cedar Hill

Jones is silky smooth at the top of his routes and can unlock his hips & work back to his quarterback. He's surehanded, takes pride in blocking on the outside, and can muscle his way right past arm tackle attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='471552' first='Caiden' last='Lawrence'] 5'7" 155, Kinkaid

Caiden can flip the field as a returner in the blink of an eye, he's squirmy in space and has the vision to spot small cutback lanes. He uses his size to get lost behind blockers, he's calm and collected venturing into the middle of the field, and is willing to do the dirty work on called now & bubble screens.

[player_tooltip player_id='1815861' first='Kade' last='Smith'], 5'10" 170, North Crowley

A burner that can get to the edge and be off to the races. He can line up on the perimeter or in the backfield and generate explosive plays. He can wiggle his way through tight quarters, he's got great patience with the ball in his hands, and shows fiery change of direction.

[player_tooltip player_id='1576285' first='Jaylen' last='Addai'], 6'1" 160, Shadow Creek

Jaylen has the speed to run right by flat-footed corners, he has the ball skills to make a play on the pigskin in traffic, and is a nightmare to bring down after the catch. He's got instant acceleration and a strong upper half to deliver a vicious stiff arm to opposing tacklers.
