It's tough for a Freshman to fill in for the Varsity team with having no game Snapping experience before the season. Carson picked up Long Snapping this past summer and has shined on Friday nights. Carson also plays LB and it shows when he covers Punts down the field as he's typically the first one down there to either make the fair catch or make the tackle. Kellen has showcased his skill to deliver a consistent snap to the Holder on Field Goals. His average only being 30 yards per punt doesn't tell the full story with his punting duties this year, as he's been able to showcase his ability to "coffin corner" his punts inside the 20 and 10 yard line.
