Just like last season we will break down the 6A top 15 each week, giving point spreads and predictions for each contest. Have a look at the state's top games and who is favored in WEEK 7.

#3 Lake Oswego @ #1 West Linn (-8.5)

West Linn has yet to allow a point to an Oregon team this season but that will likely end tonight. Lake O is playing good ball and has the athletes to stay in this game. Look for the Lions to make someone other than [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] beat them. Lake Oswego will need to avoid turnovers and penalties if they want to win this.

(-42) #2 Central Catholic @ Sandy

Sandy isn't a terrible team but Nelson beat them by 40+. Central dropped the hammer on Nelson in the 2nd half last week, winning by 25. Give the Rams and new head Charlie Landgraf a lot of credit as they haven't missed a beat even with all of the transfers.

#4 Tualatin @ #5 Lakeridge PICK'EM

It's tough to pick a winner here. I would consider QB [player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] to be the X factor. That said as Lakeridge is super legit, playing West Linn tough last Friday in the 13-0 loss. Expect this to be a three-point ball game.

(-32) #6 Sheldon @ #15 South Medford

The Irish have shown no mercy on their opponents this season and I don't expect it to start now. South played an undefeated Sprague team tough last week, losing 28-24, but Sheldon is a completely different animal outscoring opposing teams 325-46 on the year.

#10 Mountainside @ #7 Jesuit (-5)

If Mountainside can figure out a way to beat Jesuit it would likely be the necessary burst of momentum needed prior to the playoffs. We will learn a lot about both teams by how they play tonight, with 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='1232699' first='Cade' last='Mitchell'] getting his chance to help the Mavericks win their first Metro League title.

The Crusaders have had numerous kids step up highlighted by RB [player_tooltip player_id='1474324' first='Dominic' last='Locati'] and WR/DB's [player_tooltip player_id='770006' first='Joe' last='Stimpson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'].

(-47) #8 Nelson @ Gresham

Over by half..

(-24.5) #9 Sherwood @ Mcminnville

Mcminnville is a decent football team but the Bowmen have 6A state POY candidate [player_tooltip player_id='1103727' first='Wilson' last='Medina'] and a bunch of solid athletes. Look for Sherwood to put the game away in the 2nd half if not before.

(-2) #11 Sprague @ #14 Grants Pass

The Oly's are 7-0 but haven't really played anybody and almost got beat by South Medford last week. Grants Pass sits at 5-1 and have been playing some good football behind sophomore QB [player_tooltip player_id='796694' first='Jordan' last='Rossetta']. It will be a packed house at GP.

(-1.5) #13 Tigard @ #12 Oregon City

Both of these teams would likely win other 6A conferences within the state but will finish as the #5 and #6 teams in the TRL. Look for this to be one of the better games statewide.
