Several players in the past weeks have sent films to my X account.

I thought I would take some today and share key points and highlights from said film.

I appreciate players sending me film. Please realize, that I can't always watch your highlights right away, and I usually don't send critiques via direct messages.

I will however attempt to provide some details in reports similar to this one, especially since I won't be traveling much for work in October or November.

Feel free to continue to send me video clips @KSScoutDeck.

Good luck to all teams, coaches, and players, tonight in Week Five action across the Sunflower State.

[player_tooltip player_id='442345' first='Jesmar' last='Molina'], ATH, 5'9”, 165, Syracuse, ‘25

Molina is an interesting prospect who often stays in touch via X. He is a versatile athlete who can play quarterback, wideout, linebacker, or defensive back. He is quick and can make would-be tacklers miss. Molina can throw a deep ball, but coaches who watch his most recent film will notice his speed and commitment to making plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='570260' first='Eric' last='Smith III'], DL/TE, 6'2”, 215, Atchison, ‘25

Smith has sent me game highlights a couple of times this season. We have him listed as a defensive lineman in the rankings, but I am starting to like him more as a pass catcher. His combination of size and speed makes him dangerous on either side of the ball. He has nice hands and runs tight routes. He is a red-zone threat for Atchison. As a defensive lineman, I would suggest he gets in a chute and continues to work on coming out of stance lower. He does tend to stand up and let blockers get low-leverage on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1325120' first='Tucker' last='Goss'], LB, 6'1”, 185, Ellsworth, ‘26

I went out west and scouted an Ellsworth practice in September. Bearcat linebacker Goss sent me film not long after providing me evidence that my two-plus hour drive to scout a practice was worth it. He has an explosive first step and moves well downhill. He packs a punch when he delivers a hit. He plays with discipline when he has coverage assignments.

[player_tooltip player_id='1516005' first='Tramel' last='Walker'], DB/WR, 5'9”, 155, Hutchinson, ‘26 I love promoting Kansas student-athletes, but nothing makes me giddier than an unranked athlete sending me their information. Out of the blue, I got film from Hutchinson's Walker and he will debut in the class of 2026 rankings later in October. Walker sent me a short package with just four plays, but they highlight his versatility. He plays safety on two plays, corner on one, and the other shows his speed and skills as a kick returner. Keep promoting yourself young man and eyes will find you!
