PRZCJs Notebook: Who Impressed Me in Week 8?

Some new names and future CFB difference-makers highlight this list of week 8 top performers.    [player_tooltip player_id='1576112' first='Connor' last='Coxwell'] is a very loose, yet large prospect who is breaking out in a big way as a junior. The 6'5 235 DE flashed against Peachtree Ridge, finishing with a season best 3 sacks on top of 6 tackles. Coxwell has FBS offers under his belt, but he is a candidate to break out in a huge way this upcoming spring. He is all of 6'5 235 and has a basketball background. He is not clunky and awkward, but instead has elite movement skills and uses them to his advantage. He is too quick and also too big for blockers, not to mention he is capable of battling with his hands and has a hot motor. Coxwell is an easy eval, just turn on the tape.     [player_tooltip player_id='667552' first='Josiah' last='Allen'] is a well-covered prospect and has produced on varsity since he was a freshman. Against Cherokee, he shouldered the workload in a 28-27 win, rushing the ball 26 times for a season best 256 yards and 2 TDs. On the year, he is over the 1000 yard mark and is averaging 9 yards a carry. Allen runs extremely hard in the open field, playing with good contact balance and throwing stiff-arms at defenders to create separation. He is a one-cut style runner, violently planting his foot and jumping clean across the face of defenders. He is a silky runner in the open field, making him very hard to catch. Allen is committed to play Ivy League ball at Colgate, where I believe he will contribute.     [player_tooltip player_id='283827' first='Darryl' last='Rivers'] is a gamebreaker up front for Pebblebrook. He came away with 4 TFLs and a sack in a win over Osborne. Rivers is all of 6'5 250 and has room to get even bigger. He is incredibly strong, immediately sending blockers backwards and ragdolling the ball carrier when he gets his hands on him. He is still refining as an athlete and becoming twitchier, but he moves well in space and has good closing speed for his size. Rivers has a D1 offer from Georgia State and I imagine he will receive many more. I project him to eventually outgrow the DE spot, sliding inside where his strength and length will team up to move people around and clog rushing lanes.     Caleb Walters has come into his own as a senior, improving each year on varsity and is currently in the midst of his best season yet. He rushed for 135 yards in a win over Paulding County while also reeling in a reception. Is still thin and a little raw, but you can tell he is coming into his own. He plays with good patience and is slitherly in the lane. He runs hard, allowing him to stay on his feet and fall forward at times. He offers a lot in the passing game both as a receiver and a willing blocker, traits that will allow him to see the field at the next level as he continues to grow and mature. Walters is a senior-sleeper with college upside.     [player_tooltip player_id='1637884' first='AJ' last='Mcneil'] is an unsung hero for a loaded Carrollton squad. He is currently having his best year yet as a senior. He is a verified track athlete with some small-school offers under his belt, but he has late bloomer potential as we get closer to signing day. He caught 3 passes for 105 yards and 2 TDs in a Carrollton rout over Westlake. McNeil is a true deep threat, relying on his track speed and long-strides to gradually get behind safeties. He uses that part of his game to create some underneath opportunities as well. McNeil has his best football ahead of him, especially with some seasoning.
