An updated edition of the Class of 2025 Kansas Prep Redzone rankings was published this morning.

There are now 600 total athletes ranked in this class and 56 new athletes have been added since the last update.

Here is a look at five of the top debuting athletes from the Sunflower State. Each of these athletes has at least one college offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1507716' first='Jeremiah' last='Looney'], RB/WR, 6'0”, 165, Shawnee Mission North

Looney enters the rankings at No. 148 overall. He had received an offer to play at Butler Community College. His feet are his weapons, but he has nice hands as well. He gets quite a few touches per game either as a runner or as a receiver. He is a quick-hitter who gains large chunks of yards after a catch or first contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1453243' first='Tyren' last='Holmes'], DL/OL, 6'2”, 365, Liberal

Liberal's Holmes has an offer from Garden City Community College and joins the rankings in the No. 149 slot. He is a space-eating defensive lineman who can play tackle or nose guard depending on the front. He is a powerlifter and he physically reminds of former professional wrestler and strongman competitor Mark Henry. In five games for the Redskins he has tallied 36 total tackles and eight tackles-for-loss. Opposing runners just disappear once he gets his arms around them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1453234' first='Xavier' last='Porras'], RB/DB, 5'11”, 180, Liberal

Porras debuts in the rankings at No. 150 overall after obtaining an offer from Barton Community College. He has been a workhorse back for the Redskins through five games. He has toted the rock 102 times for 864 yards and 10 touchdowns. He hits the hole quickly when running inside and has the speed to get to the corner on toss or pitch plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1507711' first='Cooper' last='Woodruff'], OL, 5'8”, 268, Clearwater

Woodruff debuts in the rankings after verbally committing to play for the Sterling Warriors. He is ranked No. 155 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. He could have been an extra in Matthew McConaughey's new commercial as he loves pancake blocks. He is a quick guard who plays with a low pad level. He will add immediate depth to the Warriors' offensive line after high school.

[player_tooltip player_id='1429492' first='Landon' last='Martinez'], LB, 6'1”, 200, Liberal

Martinez debuts in the rankings at No. 160 overall. He has offers from NAIA programs Bethany and Kansas Wesleyan. The Liberal linebacker is the third Redskin athlete with a college offer among this group. That is evidence of a couple of key issues. First, Liberal is having a resurgent season and is loaded with talent. Second, it shows the need for Prep Network to find a scout based in western Kansas. In five games he has collected 44 total tackles and nine TFLs. He will blow past his junior season total of 63 tackles.
