Waylon is one of our top running backs in the state in the 2026 class and one that I love seeing the development of what he has grown since our last Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase last Spring. I feel he has grown the most with his instinctive vision and pop getting out of the inside box to the open field. His breakaway speed has also grown from a seperation perspetive from last Spring. Another skillset I see popping out this fall is growth in the hands perspective as Waylon has more football IQ loaded as a pass-catcher. He is one I see a rise of spots by next 2026 update.

Chase is a defensive back prospect that pops out on tape quickly, as his natural ball-tracking instincts show off what already looks like a great football IQ as a 2026 prospect that still has plenty of juice left to show for the #1 Brandon Valley Lynx. His speed of getting to over the top of the route in a quick nick of time constantly shows his suddeness out of his steps on tape. The 6'1 185 pounder also shows off the poise with his positioning as a free safety as it shows time after time when you wind his tape from the end of his junior season. Every bit of athletic movement Chase makes shows off pure instinct as a 2026 prospect that is rising fast up our 2026 board.

Braydon is a 2025 running back prospect that has taken South Dakota by storm in his senior season and just last week took the Dupree Tigers by storm, getting their first win against Harding County-Bison since 1987 to start off the 9A playoffs with a bang you want firing to start off the playoffs. For his 5'11 200 pound frame, Braydon is much more elusive on the outside edge than you would expect and that shows mightly in the tape he put out against the Ranchers last week. His mix of speed, balance, and durability shines out. The second clip on tape shows a lot of why I see Braydon as a great D2 target at the next-level, is this young man finishes his runs in the redzone with pure durability (watch the clip, college coaches). His versatile rushing skillsets loaded up for well over 300 yards last week and he is one that is the wrecking ball of the Dupree offense in my eyes. Braydon is one those athletes when I look back at where I had him ranked before the season, he has me kicking himself as he certainly will be higher by next update.

That was a longest stat lines I have had to type out in a while and it came from Elkton-Lake Benton 2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='929918' first='Colt' last='Beck']. Colt is a prospect I have seen all year tearing it up and we finally have the tape available to show it off further. Colt shows off on tape to be a quarterback that has sound mechanics and a rapid quick release on multiple levels of the field. For his size, Colt has a significant amount of elusiveness to get out of problem areas and continue his progression out of the pocket as he shows off a quarterback you do not see him get rattled out of the pocket. Even defensively, Colt is a firecracker with his physicality into the tackle box and although he is the Elks quarterback, you don't do not sense that he ever plays soft on the defensive side of the ball as this kid has a firece demeanor on both sides of the ball.

In last week's game against the Deuel Cardinals, Brock took the game over with 17 yards per carry and over 200 yards rushing for the Sioux Valley Cossacks. The patient vision that Brock showed off last week as a wildcat quarterback impounding in the inside box also showed off the durability I was hoping to see flourish on his tape this week. Brock especially stood out with his RPOs, as he has able to utilize his outside vision to his advantage and with the help of his Cossacks offensive line was able to close off the Deuel defense to give him plenty of space to use his speed and change of direction. Brock is a 2025 prospect that I feel some NAIA school in South Dakota is going to make a happy camper come Natiional Signing Day with his excellent character and football IQ that I feel is only going to grow further at the next-level.

I wish I could find more tape from Keaton's nearly 400 yards passing and five touchdowns, but all I can find is a few clips at the moment. He shows off good pocket awareness, and shows off the throwing angle with his throws to improvise on the run giving his wide receivers a cushion to catch and go with his precision. Keaton on the clips I have seen lately you can tell has the rapport with his receiving core to thread the neddle over the top of the secondary. Would love to get more tape on this young man as we get deeper into the playoffs.
