SAUK RAPIDS-- There was no lack of talent last night in Sauk Rapids as this will go down at one of my biggest lists of my Big Dogs of the Game I have done at Prep Redzone Minnesota. We found 17 prospects that cracked the list last night and found SO MANY 2025 prospects that are still looking for their next-level home and SO MANY that don't have their first offer yet that either should, or will very soon. Let's dive in to them all.

Alex Zimmer, QB, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2027

Alex is a raw 2027 quarterback that I thought rose his poise from game start to finish last night. He picked two touchdowns last night on quarterback sneaks which shows you his willingness to get the hard earned yards time after time. Alex needs to develop his throwing mechanics and release this offseason especially on intermediate routes as the young man came into relief for the Storm after [player_tooltip player_id='1120578' first='Spencer' last='Ackerman']'s injury in Week 2. Still a prospect that has good upside I would like to see grow in the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1256228' first='Eddie' last='Miles'], DE, Andover 2026 Twitter

Eddie by far was was my favorite defensive linemen prospect out of both teams last night. The 6'2 250 pounder stood out early with what looks like an athletic bend for his size and I like the length Eddie has with his frame as he used it well at the point of attack in Sauk Rapids last night. He showed off a balanced pad-level and plenty of versatile skillsets with his technique, first step, and high contact physicality on his tackles. I believe Eddie has a great shot to play at the next level and should be a name to know at college camps this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1191521' first='Hudson' last='Omoke'], WR, Sauk-Rapids-Rice 2025 Twitter

The Bemidji State Beavers WR commit showed off some catchy skillsets in his game last night against #4 Andover. I love how dominant Hudson is with his hands as he made some catches in very high traffic areas that were impressive from my sideline view. Hudson also flashed as a deep threat, as on one particular play he used his full 6'3 180 pound frame, vertical and was able to muster thru Andover's pesky cornerbacks for a 40+ yard reception which set up a future touchdown for the Storm. Hudson is a wide receiver that I know the Beavers WR room is going to like his mix of speed, 1v1 ball-tracking, and man, and his versatility as a route-runner.

[player_tooltip player_id='348753' first='Hudson' last='Maynard'], QB, Andover 2025 Twitter

The Huskies play with a two quarterback rotation, and I like how they balance it out drive by drive including the rushing touchdown drive for 2025 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='348753' first='Hudson' last='Maynard'] last night. What impressed me from Hudson with that particular drive was his resilience. He set up a few pass plays that were right there from a precision perspective on intermediate routes, but he did not fear to use his legs as the other skillsets he has at his disposal. We didn't see a ton of throws from Hudson last night, but when you roll the tape you have to like how well he understands how to use the proper arm strength in all situations which we did see a little of last night. Good shot at the next-level in my eyes.

Jake Thell, OL, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2025 Twitter

Jake was one of my favorite offensive linemen that hailed from the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm as I saw plenty of persistent skillsets from grading his game last night. He has seemed to develop his footwork since last season as I saw more balance in his steps last night which lead to better position angles. Jake also showed off feisty hands at the point of attack and showed off good pad-level from the reps I got to watch. At 6'6 285 pounds, Jake has some raw ability but I know several scholarship level programs that would take the chance to develop a OL prospect at that size and one that has made great improvements year by year.

Holden Beberg, OL, Andover 2025 Twitter

In my eyes, Andover 2025 offensive linemen Holden Beberg might be the Huskies biggest 2025 sleeper at the next-level on their roster. The 6'4 255 pounder, was a quick eye-catcher when I watched the Andover offensive line in depth showing off vicious hands, great pad-level, strength and outstanding leverage at the point of attack. The consistency of Holden in all of those skillsets I just mentioned certainly struck a chord with me and barely being able to find this young man on Twitter has me intrigued that this kid is a 2025 sleeper at the next-level and looks like a scholarship-level talent in my eyes.

Chris Pepin, RB/DB, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2025 Twitter

If we look at both sides of the ball, Chris Pepin of Sauk-Rapids-Rice was one of my favorite prospects in that category last night. He impressed me with his vision at tailback and not only that, he showed off great elusiveness to get north-south and showed off as a RB prospect that has great change of direction and is more durable than he will get credit for with his 5'9 175 pound frame. Chris I felt got even a higher grade from me at cornerback, as he showed off as a excellent ball-tracker that played with great balances of physicality in 1v1 pass coverage against a bigger receiving core coming from the Huskies. I believe he could be a great small school get for the next-level as at this time, I haven't been able to track any offers yet this late in the fall.

Wyatt Myers, RB, Andover 2025 Twitter

Talk about a young man that busted open a big game-changing drive last night for the Andover Huskies which came from 5'10 170 pound running back Wyatt Myers. I loved this kid's balanced power and speed he brought to the table and was much more durable for his size than you would have expected. He showed off a quick sudden burst that possessed good fluidity with carrying the rock as much as he did last night, and I thought Wyatt was a work horse getting his yards last night not just in the open field but getting plenty of tough earned yards after contact. Wyatt is another tailback from last night that has a good shot playing at the next-level as I could also tell he showed off patient vision with the bulk of his runs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420845' first='Xavier' last='Thurston'], TE, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2025 Twitter

If we are talking fluidity to the core of it, you could see it clearly from Sauk Rapids-Rice 2025 tight end [player_tooltip player_id='1420845' first='Xavier' last='Thurston'] with the reps I got to watch from him last night as a prospect I would have liked to see him get more targets last night because I was impressed with what he showed. When Xavier found the open field after the catch, I liked how well this young man ran with a full head of steam like a bull streaming down the sidelines. He also impressed me with his patient vision on short routes waiting for the play to develop. Yet another Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 2025 prospect I would like to see get some opportunities at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='752525' first='Cameron' last='Begalle'], WR, Andover 2025 Twitter

I have to give the Sauk Rapids-Rice defense a lot of credit, as you could tell that they gameplaned efficiently for Minnesota commit [player_tooltip player_id='752525' first='Cameron' last='Begalle'], but the Andover Huskies 2025 wide receiver still found ways to get his targets with efficency. Even with limited targets, Cameron showed off excellent instincts as a pass-catcher, as one particular play right in front me he caught an overthrown ball with his excellent hands and showed off easily seen poise and balance on that particular reception with no hesitation. Cameron has some damaging change of direction that we saw on his other reception versus Sauk Rapids-Rice as I would consider the Sauk Rapids-Rice secondary very lucky because he was close to breaking thru it which could have lead to a big chunk play or a Huskies touchdown. I also just love this kid's character as a prospect I cannot wait to watch in the Maroon and Gold in the coming years.

[player_tooltip player_id='945337' first='Bradyn' last='Kost'], LB, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2025 Twitter

I had to ask myself the question after Bradyn destroyed Andover's first drive with, 3 tackles and 1 sack on a three and out, why doesn't this young man have an offer yet? Bradyn's ability to get into the backfield quickly was fun to watch live last night as he was a menace getting off his blocks and getting home into the ball carrier and also used well-versed position angles. When Bradyn makes contact with the ball carrier, you can hear the pop from the sidelines even if you are 20 yards away which is a great sign. If I was a Division II school, I would waste no time with getting this kid on your offer board as Bradyn has stood out for me at the massive Minnesconsin MEGA Camp and our Prep Redzone Combines, which should be a sign that even in a big crowd this young man is scholarship-level material.

Alex Kopetzki, DB, Andover 2025 Twitter

The PA announcer called out Alex's number a ton last night in Sauk Rapids and when I got a look at his skillsets, I liked what I saw out of the Concordia-St. Paul basketball commit. The 6'1 180 pounder impressed me with his vision and physical ball-tracking ability which showed the discipline of how to play physical on ball pass defense but yet not causing the ref to throw a flag. Alex caught an interception deep Sauk Rapids-Rice territory and with his basketball vertical at his disposal, it's easy to see why the Golden Bears like him as a basketball prospect too. Certainly I believe too, that Alex could play on the gridirion for CSP as his football skillsets and length certainly fit in the NSIC.

Joesph Mapson, QB, Andover 2026 Twitter

With three rushing touchdowns on the game, Andover 2026 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1491934' first='Joseph' last='Mapson'] was my Game MVP from last night in Sauk Rapids. This young man showed off huge amounts of elusiveness with his legs and although I didn't see a ton of pass reps from Joesph, I have been told by my colleague [player_tooltip player_id='1292679' first='Oliver' last='West'] that he likes how well Joesph can sling it in the game he watched earlier this season against Elk River. Regardless if Joesph is inside or outside of the pocket, I certainly love this kid's poise he brings to his table and it's clear when you watch the midseason tape, that he has great arm talent on all three levels of the field along with great chemistry with his wide receivers as he can operate in some very tight throwing windows. Joseph certainly showed off a stockrising type game that we saw last night. He certainly is a 2026 quarterback I would add to my recruiting board, sooner not later.

Carter Riedeman, RB, Sauk Rapids-Rice 2026

MacIntyre Griess, DB, Andover 2025 Twitter

MacIntyre probably had the coolest special teams touchdown I have seen in my Prep Redzone scouting career. For some reason, when the Storm lined up for their field goal, my gut instinct just did not like their angle and positioning in their field goal. My gut appeared to be right, as MacIntyre Griess took it back 78-yards for a touchdown off the field goal block. By far the biggest splash of a special teams play I have ever seen.

Riley Monette, DL, Andover 2025 Twitter

If you were a running back that ran into Riley Monette last night, you likely felt like you ran into a mack truck with how forceful he was on his tackles that I got to witness. I was intrigued with the high level of motor and steam that this kid played with last night against Sauk Rapids-Rice.

[player_tooltip player_id='945922' first='Kaleb' last='Weikel'], LB, Andover 2025 Twitter

The 6'1 240 pound linebacker lead the state as a junior with 142 tackles and has one of the hugest motors I have seen at the linebacker position in a while live-scouting a game. Not only was every tackle owned with highly intense physicality that Kaleb made last night, but the purity of this young man's instincts were very enjoyable to watch. Yet another Huskie, that I am shocked doesn't have an offer.
