ROCK BRIDGE

[player_tooltip player_id='669411' first='Brady' last='Davidson'] QB
- The rocket-armed senior continued his outstanding season by tossing three touchdowns and dropping dimes to receivers while leading the Bruins offense to a big lead in the first half that put the game out of reach in the first half. Brady continues to get better and improve his skills as his trajectory as a college prospect stay on an upward path. He's smooth, sees the field extremely well, makes good decisions and really rips the ball using a quick release and great ball placement on his throws with his accuracy to help make his receivers job as easy as possible. Look forward to seeing how good he can be in college and possibly beyond.

[player_tooltip player_id='1270488' first='Garrett' last='Essner'] TE
- Another Bruins who has elevated his game since last season when I recognized he was a future D1 prospect in the 6'6" 240 Essner. He showed flashes in his limited opportunities last season but has has continued to make big strides with his route running, speed, athleticism and receiving skills. He was impressive with his blocking and catches, especially a great 25-yard touchdown reception where he showed very good body control, concentration and hands in a tightly covered receiving window. Colleges continue to take notice as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='326731' first='Devin' last='Holt'] WR
- The speedy receiver showed his jets on his touchdown grab and his ability to hit an extra gear when needed as he made the catch and accelerated out of the reach of the defensive back who had an angle on him. The 6'2" Holt has developed into a big play weapon that opposing defenses have to account for on every play. Devin also does the other things expected of a receiver including some nice blocking on run plays. His best football is still ahead of him as you can see he is just scratching the surface if his potential.

Derrick Young RB
- 5'11" 185 senior back Young ripped off a great 88-yard touchdown run and followed it up with a 2-yard score on the following play. Derrick ran hard all game and showed good versatility with his combination of toughness and strength between the tackles and ability to bounce outside and use his speed and quickness to make positive yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='326733' first='Drevyn' last='Seamon'] WR
- Dre showed his ability to be a weapon catching, running the ball and on special teams and his numbers showed it in the game with 2 rushes for 31 yards, 3 catches for 46 yards and 2 kick returns for 42 yards. His talents weren't called on as much with the amount of turnovers and score getting out of hand early, but he is a threat every time he has the ball in his hands in space with his speed and quickness.

HICKMAN

[player_tooltip player_id='1117659' first='Brock' last='Camp'] TE
- The big-time senior college prospect has been on a terror through his first seven game with with over 700 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns but was limited for the most part during the game drawing extra attention from the defense and with the pressure the Bruins were able to put on the Kewpie QB. He still showed he is one of the better tight ends in the Midwest at 6'6" 240 with his receiving and blocking ability. Camp has one of the best sets of hands and does a great job getting space and positioning on defenders.

Ra'Jon Rayner RB
- I was looking forward to seeing the sophomore back in action after the season he has been having. Yards were tough to come by for Hickman but Rayner ran hard and fought for every one he gained, which paid off in the end and helped keep the Kewpies from being shutout as he scored their lone touchdown of the game late. Ra'Jon is quick and has some wiggle and ability to accelerate in a hurry to slip tackles. He also showed good toughness against the hard hitting and swarming defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='326615' first='Carter' last='Holliday'] WR
- The 6'4" senior receiver also played hard for the entire game and worked to get open for his catches. Carter started out as a quarterback but has made the transition to receiver and excelled at it. He's long, runs well and does a nice job catching the ball. All qualities that colleges look for and should afford him the opportunity to play on the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131023' first='Bredun' last='Bursey'] QB
- Not of lot of time to throw on the night for the sophomore quarterback but he has displayed some great throwing ability and QB skills over his first two years of varsity football. Bredun has a quick release and throws a nice ball when he has the time to make his reads and find his receiver. He showed a lot playing under adversity and did the best he could after his team fell behind.
