Film Review: WPIAL 2026 RBS Catching My Eye

He does a great job of hitting the hole and making defenders miss. Then when he gets in the open field, he has elite track speed. He is able to outrun defenders for big plays. He is also able to hit the hole and get positive gains every play. Looking at his film he is a good athlete who can do a lot of different things on the football field. As a running back he has excellent vision. I like the way he looks at the hole and shows good patience. An example is outside zone run play. He shows good patience and then finds the rushing lane. He also is a physical runner who is hard to tackle. Lastly, he has good speed and can score anytime he touches the ball. When you watch his film you see his legs always churning and breaking tackles. He shows a good versatility in that Upper St. Clair runs a diverse run game and Coury is good at all the different types of runs. He is also elusive and hard to bring down. They use him all over the field and he is constantly making plays for his team. He has legit speed and can score anytime he touches the ball. Monessen uses him in the run game, and they throw the ball to him. He shows good burst and elusiveness. They also played him at quarterback where he was able to use his running skills. Scott is a dynamic runner who is hard to bring down. He shows good elusiveness and an ability to make defenders miss. The other big part of his game is his ability to show patience when running the ball. When he runs outside toss he does a nice job of running outside and hitting the right angle. Scott also has speed and can take it to the end zone anytime he touches the ball. On defense, he is a playmaker as well. He had a game earlier this year where he rushed for 255 yards and 6 touchdowns. So, I went back and looked at his film, and it is an eye-popping film. Glenn has everything you want from a running back. He makes defenders miss with ease and has breakaway speed. He has the ability to put his foot down, find the hole and go.
