<p class="text-gray-700">Christ Presbyterian Academy continued to prove why they are still undefeated on Thursday night, rolling past Antioch 34-6 in the Lions' final home game of the season. After witnessing the matchup between the Bears and the Lions in Nashville, here's my list of top performers as well as my full game recap.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Earning MVP for his performance was [player_tooltip player_id='824736' first='Owen' last='Cabell'], a wide receiver at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Cabell was highly explosive down the stretch, proving he can quickly break free of the defense and get wide open for the deep throw. Cabell caught my eye in the first half when he came down with a challenging touchdown pass to extend CPA's lead. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Also making his presence known in the endzone was [player_tooltip player_id='1269236' first='Knox' last='McLean'], a tight end at Christ Presbyterian Academy. In addition to excellent height and wingspan, McLean impresses me with his ability to consistently execute routes and get in position for the touchdown pass. McLean hauled in a clutch touchdown in the second quarter to further the Lions' lead.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Making a huge impact on the defensive side of the ball was [player_tooltip player_id='467262' first='Steele' last='Chance'], a linebacker at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Chance caught my attention with his ability to read the offense like a book and consistently shut down the ground game. I also liked how Chance could apply pressure on the quarterback and make electric stops in third-down situations.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Making a huge difference at the helm of the offense was [player_tooltip player_id='220692' first='Hutson' last='Chance'], a quarterback at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Chance impressed me with his ability to both run the ball and throw darts into the backfield. Chance proved his ability to play fast under center and quickly find his receivers in the backfield for the deep pass. Chance made several great touchdown passes and broke the defense to run in a touchdown himself in the second half.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Another offensive playmaker to make his presence known was [player_tooltip player_id='1335216' first='Rawls' last='Patterson'], a running back at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Patterson was unstoppable on the ground, showcasing his ability to punch through the defense and fight for extra steps. I also liked how Patterson could get open for the touchdown pass, proving his catching ability.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Catching my attention under center was [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'], a quarterback at Antioch High School. Adams made a big difference in the second half, proving his ability to adapt to a tough defensive challenge from CPA. Adams made several impactful deep passes in the second half and managed to punch in a late touchdown in the fourth quarter.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Establishing himself at the line of scrimmage was [player_tooltip player_id='250865' first='Ta'Khyian' last='Whitset'], an offensive lineman at Antioch High School. Whitset impressed me with his size, strength and his ability to utilize his wingspan to pushback against the defense in crucial moments. I also liked how Whitset could buy his quarterback extra time when the defense applied pressure, using his arms to shove the defense back in crucial moments.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Also making a difference was Weston Parker, an athlete at Christ Presbyterian Academy. Parker caught my eye in the first half, hauling in an impressive touchdown pass to put the Lions on the scoreboard for the first time of the night. On top of great breakaway speed, Parker stood out with his ability to overpower defenders down the stretch and quickly elevate off the ground to haul in the touchdown pass.</p>

<p>The Lions' offense locked in on their first drive of the contest as Weston Parker would score a touchdown on a quick handoff from [player_tooltip player_id='220692' first='Hutson' last='Chance'], shaking the entire defense to march into the house for the score. CPA led Antioch 6-0 with 9:15 remaining in the first quarter as the extra point was no good. CPA would go on to extend their lead before the end of the first quarter as [player_tooltip player_id='824736' first='Owen' last='Cabell'] would haul in a clutch touchdown pass to extend the lead to 13-0 with 25 seconds left before the start of the second quarter of action. The Lions continued to showcase their talent as [player_tooltip player_id='1335216' first='Rawls' last='Patterson'] hauled in an impressive touchdown pass on third-and-inches to extend CPA's lead. The Lions led the Bears 20-0 with less than seven minutes remaining before the half. In the final minutes of the first half, the Lions continued to show off on the offensive end as Chance connected with [player_tooltip player_id='1269236' first='Knox' last='McLean'] for a touchdown. At the half, CPA led Antioch 27-0. In the opening minutes of the third quarter, the Lions continued to roll over the visiting team offensively as Chance kept the ball to himself, breaking the entire defense on his way into the endzone. The Lions led 34-0 with 7:08 left in the third quarter. With just a few minutes left in the game, the Bears' offense locked in and put Antioch on the scoreboard as [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] made several great passes to get the offense within a few inches of the house. Adams would run the ball in himself for the touchdown. The Bears fell 34-6 to CPA as the two-point conversion was no good.</p>
