6A Oregon Mid Season All State- 1st & 2nd Team "D"

Here we will break down Oregon's top players midway through the season. Per usual if you play for one of the better teams in the state, you are much more likely to be selected as an all-state athlete. This is not a recruiting-based list. If West Linn wins the title and [player_tooltip player_id='632957' first='Josiah' last='Molden'] continues to lock everyone up, he could be the first sophomore to win 6A state POY accolades. [player_tooltip player_id='769915' first='Noah' last='Tishendorf'] and [player_tooltip player_id='285881' first='Lusiano' last='Lopez'] will have the inside track on the award, with Tishendorf leading the state in sacks, and the 2x 1st team all TRL D lineman Lopez absolutely dominating up front.   [player_tooltip player_id='285855' first='Baron' last='Naone'] could have been the POY last season defensively. Both him and 6-4 DE/OLB [player_tooltip player_id='285849' first='Oliver' last='Macy'] of Lake O have a similar style coming off the edge. [player_tooltip player_id='527045' first='Dominic' last='Macon'] committed to UW after blowing up this off season, with [player_tooltip player_id='1103481' first='Luke' last='Saraceno'] tying Tishendorf currently for the state lead in sacks.    The LB's are talented across the board with Will Ingle making the move back from Wilsonville and not missing a beat. He will be in the POY conversation with talented OLB [player_tooltip player_id='402406' first='Donnie' last='Vercher III'] of Central Catholic, who will be a double digit D1 offer guy before he's done.    Lakeridge is absolutely loaded defensively with the Eddleman kids just wrecking opposing offenses. The Pacers are a completely different team than last year with 6-4 Portland St commit [player_tooltip player_id='754631' first='Kayce' last='Tinner'] being another huge factor.    [player_tooltip player_id='527032' first='Mana' last='Tuioti'] is one of the top two-way threats in the NW and don't sleep on Jr. LB [player_tooltip player_id='1059015' first='Justin' last='Craigwell']. I could see him being in the conference and state POY conversation as an underclassmen.    Separate from Molden who is listed as one of the top players in America for his class, [player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'] of Jesuit has had a breakout season. The speedster is averaging 30 yards per catch with 4 TD's, and has been even more impressive on D, ranking among the 6A leaders in INTs.    I could see [player_tooltip player_id='914282' first='James' last='Wade'] of CC blowing up in the coming months and landing multiple D1 offers, with Nelson standout [player_tooltip player_id='1110921' first='Chaz' last='Katoanga'] in the same boat. Both are division 1 kids.    It's been a tough year for West Salem, with [player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] being a huge bright spot, and not allowing any completions through 4 weeks. [player_tooltip player_id='402418' first='Marcus' last='Post'] has been injury free and has looked great in the secondary with multiple INTs.
