[player_tooltip player_id='358760' first='Charlie' last='Johnston'] is a really talented quarterback out of Moody who has played fantastic over the last few years, but especially so far in his senior season. Last Friday, Johnston had a terrific performance against Helena where he made play after play. At 6'5 190, Johnston stands tall in the pocket and plays with a ton of confidence that helps him deliver the ball all over the field. Johnston throws the ball with terrific accuracy and does a great job leading his receivers downfield- he has the arm strength to launch the ball downfield and does so at a high level very consistently. Johnston also has a good bit of mobility as well, he can move around the pocket well and can break off some runs for good yardage as well. Against Helena, Johnston was a huge part of why Moody won 26-21. He was extremely efficient throughout the game and completed 14/22 passing attempts for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns last Friday. Johnston has elevated Moody's passing attack so much since arriving there a few years back- be sure to watch him the rest of this season and at Georgia Southern at the next level, he's got a ton of talent and is sure to make some great plays!

[player_tooltip player_id='472861' first='Jamison' last='Roberts'] is a super-talented sophomore quarterback out of Saraland that we covered earlier this summer and man has he made the most of his opportunities this season. After backing up [player_tooltip player_id='379573' first='KJ' last='Lacey'] the last season, Roberts was given his first chance to start last Friday against McGill-Toolen and did fantastic. Roberts was a huge reason why Saraland's offense had so much success in their 34-12 victory- what he was able to do in his first start was super impressive and shows great potential moving forward. Roberts has a talented arm that can make any throw out on the field-he fits the ball into some really tight windows and can launch it downfield to receivers for huge gains as well. Roberts is also a talented athlete, he can absorb hits in the pocket and has the speed and elusiveness to extend plays. All of this showed up last week against McGill-Toolen, Roberts ended the game by completing 14/24 passing attempts for 253 yards and 3 touchdowns. Keep an eye on Roberts going forward- he's looked terrific in relief of [player_tooltip player_id='379573' first='KJ' last='Lacey'] and is already giving us a great sneak peek on what Saraland's offense will look like in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1475834' first='Will' last='Myers'] is a talented senior quarterback out of Homewood who has strung together a couple of really great performances so far this season, and last week was no different. In a matchup against Jackson-Olin, Myers passed and ran the ball extremely well and was a huge reason why Homewood had a 52-0 blowout win. Myers is a talented passer- he does a great job of taking what the defense gives him and can efficiently pass/share the ball around the entire field. He has some really solid arm talent that helps him make a wide variety of difficult throws and when you combine that with his mobility it makes him a dual threat capable of making plays each snap. Myers can do a lot with his legs, he has some great speed and can make defenders miss with ease, frequently leading him to big plays on the ground. All of this showed up in last week's performance, Myers ended the game by completing 11-17 passing attempts for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns with 7 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown on the ground as well. Be sure to keep watching Myers throughout the rest of this year, he's played extremely well and is an exciting prospect to watch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1475837' first='Mac' last='Beason'] is a senior quarterback out of Hoover that is coming off an unbelievable performance against Prattville that saw him pass the ball at an extremely high level. At 6'2 200, Beason has a great build for the position that helps him see the field, take hits, and accurately deliver the ball. He has a talented arm capable of hitting targets at every level of the field- it's really impressive watching how well he leads his receivers, he never puts them in harm's way and places the ball only where they can make a play on it. It was easy to see these traits on tape last week, Beason was dominant in Hoover's 40-6 win over unbeaten Prattville. Throughout the game, Beason completed 20-30 passing attempts for 272 yards and 5 touchdowns against Prattville, consistently finding open targets and hitting them for huge plays. It was really exciting watching Beason put up this kind of performance, be sure to tune in and see how he continues to play the rest of this year- he's bound to make a lot of great plays!
