The rams had over 20 penalties with over half of them coming from the offense but Hewitt still managed to drop a career high 6 touchdowns with only 10 incompletes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>6'5 Rocket arm with elite decision making. More elusive than what you may think and has a great winning personality. He was never rattled or shaken during the game. All the players feed of his confidence and energy. He will also be the first to give credit up to his coaches and teammates. All Around phenom athlete and even better human being. The Senior had 20 carries for 144 yards and a single TD. The D1 recruit was dealing with a lower leg injury so his touches were limited but he doesn't need many opportunities to make a difference. Can score from anywhere on the field. He blocks and runs extremely well and his hands work, Kelly scored 2 TDs Friday night. Kelly is big/ strong enough to set the edge on an outside zone play but fast enough to gash the defense if your not careful. Primarily matched up with Laney's top target, George played a great defending the pass and showed up during the run plays. When the team challenged him on 1on1s he made the plays and his interception he caught came while he was in zone. His game on defense goes without saying, but Nolan scored 3 touchdowns playing in the slot Friday. With Nolan added to the pass attack, the rams have and use more weapons than most teams in the 3a. Khimani has a knack for finding the soft parts of the zone and sitting, waiting to be discoved by his QB. ECU absolutely got a steal with this kid. This is his first full season being featured as WR1 and he is blistering the competition. Over 300 yards in the first 2 games of the year is impressive to say the least. I've covered Darden for the last 4 seasons and seen him play everything from QB, CB, LB , Safety, and edge. During the game, Darden moved around depending on down and distance. 1st down, the 6'4 225lb would typically stand up over the center, 3rd and long he was caving in one side of the offensive line. Donovan may not have gotten crazy stats but his impact was felt. Donovan has the potential to be one of if not THE top defensive ath in North or South Carolina. The future Gamecock lined and played all positions on the DLine, he also played all LB spots.
