The Week 4 Thursday slate was a strong group of games, whether pre-planned or forced into changing by the weather. The weather and the schedule gave us a chance to see some teams that might typically get lost on a Friday and to highlight some games that might ordinarily fly under the radar. So, who stood out on Thursday night?

With so many playmakers on the field for Havelock, it's easy for Morgan to get overlooked, but he's been exceptional this season and was the primary standout for the Rams on Thursday. Through three games, he's caught 18 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns as part of one of the state's best passing attacks.

Though North Stanley's passing offense has been boom-or-bust this season, McKoy has put up huge numbers. But nothing was as big as his performance in Thursday's thrilling win over West Stanley. McKoy caught three touchdowns as part of a comeback win in double overtime, giving him four on the season as North Stanley's top target.

Hughes was magificent Thursday, finishing the game with two sacks and nine solo tackles while living in the backfield. He's not the biggest guy, but he has great length and is able to use it to keep offensive linemen at bay. I'm impressed not only by how he rushes the passer, but also with how he plays the run.

It's hard to find someone from across the entire state who had as good a game as Flowe had Thursday. Flowe had three touchdown runs in a back-and-forth game with Lexington. Still, Lexington was driving late with the chance to win the game. It was Flowe who had the game-winning interception on the goal line to seal it for Central Davidson.

Porter Ridge's quarterback situation is fascinating, as both guys have been fantastic under center. Thursday, it was Myers who torched the opposition, as he threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while running for a fifth touchdown. Myers looked poised in the pocket and hit several short touchdown throws into tight windows in the end zone.
