What a weird week in the Upstate. A ton of teams had bye weeks, particularly at the 5A level, and a bunch more had their games moved to Thursday night due to predicted weather from the remnants of Hurricane Francine. With two nights of action, there were a ton of great performances across the area. Here's a look at some deserving of PRZ Game Balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1254205' first='Amazay' last='Robinson'] QB and Marcus Leamon WR, Berea

The duo had a big game in the Bulldogs' win over Southside. Robinson finished 24-for-38 through the air with 264 yards and two touchdowns, adding 71 yards and another score on just four carries. Leamon was his top target, hauling in 13 catches for 165 yards and a score.

Shun Rogers WR, Blacksburg

Despite dropping a heartbreaker, Rogers came up huge for the Wildcats. He notched 148 receiving yards and a score, and added a pair of touchdowns on the ground.

Jameson Dearybury QB, Brayden Simpson WR, and Reece Waugerman WR, Broome

The Centurions' success through the air continued on Thursday. Dearybury turned in another highly efficient night, going 21-of-29 for 288 yards and four touchdowns in Broome's win over Emerald. Simpson caught eight balls for 106 yards and a score, while Waugerman had seven catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1809232' first='Evan-Reece' last='Lawter'] QB and Kjay Proctor ATH, Chesnee

The Eagles took a 28-24 thriller over R-S Central, with Lawter rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown in the win. Proctor (photo) rushed for three scores on nine carries, accounting for 48 yards and the winning score with eight seconds to play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1592305' first='Ty' last='Foster'] QB and MiCah McClintock WR, Landrum

Foster was 7-of-12 for 175 yards and two scores, adding 137 yards and another touchdown on the ground as the Cardinals thumped rival Polk County. McClintock caught three balls for 105 yards and two touchdowns, then forced a fumble and accounted for two tackles on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574101' first='William' last='Gillespie'] RB and [player_tooltip player_id='1809341' first='John' last='Campbell'] DB, St. Joseph's

In a rugged win over Pickens, Gillespie carried 16 times for 93 yards and a score. On defense, Campbell notched 11 tackles from his safety spot.

Nathan Koepke LB, Union County

Koepke was all over the field in the Yellow Jackets' frantic comeback win over Blacksburg. He had 12 tackles, five tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, five hurries, and an interception in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='272705' first='Armoni' last='Weaver'] ATH, Westside

Weaver scored four times in three different ways in a blowout win over Belton-Honea Path. He had two touchdown catches, returned the game's opening kickoff 81 yards for a score, and added a 25-yard pick-6 as the Rams avenged their only loss from a year ago and ran their win streak to 17 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161156' first='Javen' last='Cook'] RB, Clinton

Cook is quickly becoming the centerpiece of Clinton's ground game. Against Chapman on Thursday, he carried 14 times for 156 yards and scores of 28 and 49 yards as the Red Devils rushed for 339 yards in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='867240' first='Silas' last='Parish'], Walhalla

Parish had 14 total tackles against Seneca, including seven solos. He added five tackles for loss and knocked down a pass for the Razorbacks. He added six rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown, and caught three passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1254107' first='Brody' last='Diggins'] LB, [player_tooltip player_id='1734653' first='Lewis' last='Bussey'] DL, and [player_tooltip player_id='1405166' first='Aiden' last='Jones'] DL, Greer

In Greer's first win over Byrnes in 17 tries (and 24 years), the defense turned in a dominant performance. They allowed just 146 total yards to the Rebels, including just eight on the ground. They kept the Byrnes offense out of the end zone, as the Rebels' only touchdown was on a punt return. Every Yellow Jacket who played on defense should get a share of a game ball, but three stood out. Diggins had six solo tackles, a tackle for loss, and broke up two passes to help lead the way, while Bussey and Jones had back-to-back sacks on Byrnes' last drive as the Rebels tried to drive for a winning field goal attempt.
