Week 2: Central Indiana Offensive Standout Performances

Not only is he starting, but he just showed that he's a guy who can light it up like few can. He got into a rhythm early and threw guys open the entire game. He finished the game going 20 of 35 for 295 yards and 6 TDs. He's got elite speed and great hands. He was able to get behind the defense time and time again. He finished the game with 9 receptions for 180 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He hit multiple big runs and showed off his speed more than once. He's got fantastic vision and always found the lane to hit. He only carried the ball 9 times and managed to put up 172 yards and 3 TDs. He's likely going to make someone a very happy camper when he signs to play at the next level. A very quiet yet highly productive career. Through 2 weeks of the 2024 season, he leads the state in receiving yards. He's a versatile player who already has a passing TD, rushing TD, and multiple receiving TDs. While the passing TD was a trick play, it doesn't take away from the trust he has with the staff. The game only lasted less than a half, but Decatur Central was all over the Dragons and it's because Polston was absolutely lights out. 9 for 11 with 118 passing yards and a pair of TDs through the air and another TD on the ground. The weather cut short a lot of games on Friday, and it's almost criminal not to see Polston finish that game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
