Louisiana's 2024 season kicks off this week with a long list of notable college prospects still looking for or undecided on their homes for the next level once their senior season ends.

Here's a look at Prep Redzone Louisiana's 10 top-ranked uncommitted seniors on the offensive side of the ball heading into Week 1.

[player_tooltip player_id='710072' first='D'Shaun' last='Ford'] — 5-11, 210 RB — Opelousas

The Tigers' powerful star running back, one of the best in the state's loaded class at the position, continues to look for his home at the next level after being recruited by a slew of Power-Four colleges during the past two years. Ford has shouldered the load for Opelousas to prolific and historic heights as the workhorse for an emergent program all the way to its first-ever state championship this past December. Southern, Memphis, Arkansas State and Minnesota have been among the most recent offers on a long list that has included Miami, Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Louisiana (Lafayette), Louisiana Tech, Arkansas, Tulane, ULM, Missouri, UCF, McNeese State, Nicholls State, Grambling State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida State, Mississippi State, Penn State and UTSA.

[player_tooltip player_id='291090' first='Brandon' last='Henderson'] — 6-0, 170 ATH — Woodlawn (Shreveport)

The most viable two-way prospect at the next level on this list, the smooth and speedy multisport standout has been a three-phase playmaker for his Knights as a notable vertical threat with good ball skills as a receiver, a dynamic return man and also an instinctive safety capable of covering huge chunks of ground on the back end of the defense. He added offers this spring from South Florida and Louisiana Tech to go with Lane College, Grambling State and Northwestern State.

[player_tooltip player_id='1331302' first='Lekedrin' last='Harvey'] — 6-0, 205 RB — Dutchtown

The latest-blooming recruit of this bunch, Harvey picked up a quick string of offers from Florida A&M, North Carolina, Marshall, Penn State and Miami on the heels of his impressive track season establishing himself as one of the state's fastest athletes. He'll have the opportunity this fall to step into a more prominent role in his Griffins' offense as they try to build upon a historic semifinal run in 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='914205' first='Derrick' last='Johnson Jr.'] — 6-4, 230 TE — Holy Cross

The first of a pair of potential Division-I tight ends on this list, Johnson is a multisport athlete and versatile hybrid of an offensive weapon who moves well and can line up all over the formation. He was on the receiving end of some major moments for his Tigers' emergence this past season, including the hail-mary touchdown against John Curtis as time expired, and should be an even bigger focal point of the passing game this fall as the team replaces its speedy outside receiving duo. Boston College, East Carolina, Tulane and Liberty have been among the most recent and consistent college programs on a list of more than 20 offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1221023' first='Kyree' last='Paul'] — 5-10, 175 ATH — Istrouma

The Indians' star is another dynamic and versatile athlete who plays at a high level in all three phases. He has appeared to project primarily as an explosive weapon capable of scoring from anywhere on the field as a running back, receiver or returner, but has also played well as a defensive back. On offense, he racked up nearly 1,400 rushing and another 200-plus receiving for a combined 17 scores, including a touchdown better than every fourth catch. Grambling State, Louisiana (Lafayette) and Houston were among his stops this summer, with Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State, Southern, Lamar and Alcorn State among his offers.

[player_tooltip player_id='291088' first='J.T.' last='Layton'] — 6-3, 220 TE — Oak Grove

The other of Louisiana's top tight end prospects still determining a college home, Layton fits the more traditional mold at the position, but also moves well enough in space to provide some versatility as a weapon. HIs list of offers includes ULM, Louisiana Tech, Houston, Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Dartmouth, SEMO, Cornell, Lamar and Northwestern State. Notably, his quarterback and friend is among the leaders of Louisiana Tech's commitment class, a program with a strong track record of recruiting the Tigers.

[player_tooltip player_id='914094' first='Tavias' last='Gordon'] — 5-10, 185 RB — Westgate

The Tigers' standout rushed for more than 1,600 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior as the offense turned even more heavily following an injury to its start quarterback to Gordon's well-rounded combination of tough running between the tackles and breakaway speed once through the hole. Ole Miss, Arkansas, Southeastern Louisiana and North Alabama offers this spring have highlighted his recruiting process.

[player_tooltip player_id='914129' first='James' last='Evans'] — 5-9, 140 WR — John F. Kennedy

One of the Cougars' speedy receiving duo with Division-I potential, Evans racked up more than 750 yards and 18 touchdowns as a consistent big-play threat for the ascending offense and program. Southeastern Louisiana, Central Arkansas, UCF, Arkansas, Troy, Alcorn State, UTSA, Marshall and Alabama State have been among his offers during the recruiting process.

[player_tooltip player_id='145333' first='Diesel' last='Solari'] — 5-7, 175 ATH — Cecilia

Another highly versatile high school football players, Solari has been a leading playmaker for his Bulldogs — all the way to their first state-title appearance in 30 years — as a quarterback, receiver, return man and defensive back. He projects most likely at the next level as running back where his strong build, vision, quick feet and explosive burst make him dangerous with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='461064' first='Jarvis' last='Davis Jr']. — 5-10, 170 WR — Airline

The crafty, consistent receiver was among Louisiana's top pass-catchers as a junior with 94 receptions for 1,276 yards and nine touchdowns and another five scores on carries in his Vikings' high-flying offense. Navy, South Florida, Arkansas State, Tulsa, Grambling State, Southeastern Louisiana, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Stephen F. Austin have been among notable programs in his recruitment.
