Top Performances From District 3: Week 3

He was under pressure the entire night, but constantly made plays for his team in a loss to Muhlenberg. Moyer threw for 359 yards and 3 touchdowns last week. He made several plays with defenders draped all over him. Moyer has the tools to play quarterback or another position in College, he is that good of an athlete.     [player_tooltip player_id='1430242' first='Cameron' last='Small'] was the other star of the game between Muhlenberg and Daniel Boone. Small rushed for an eye-popping 295 yards and 3 scores. He also played good defense as a defensive back. He even had the game-clinching interception. As a running back he has great vision and patience as a runner. He does a nice job of reading the defense finding the hole and exploding through the hole. Small is a talented player in the 2026 class.     [player_tooltip player_id='914750' first='Amil' last='Way'] is a difference-maker at defensive back and wide receiver. He has a great combination of speed and athleticism. Last year he showed off his coverage skills as a defensive back, as he does a good job staying in coverage and making a play on the ball. This year he is playing as a wide receiver as well and has helped lead Trinity to two straight wins. Way is a name to know going forward.     When [player_tooltip player_id='386321' first='Tanie' last='Young'] transferred from Trinity to Central Dauphin East he became the top target of quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1131218' first='Demaj' last='Jalloh']. Through 3 weeks he has been putting on a show and has been one of the most consistent and best-performing wide receivers. In Central Dauphin East's 28-27 win over Cedar Cliff Young made several plays to help them get the victory. Young has helped Central Dauphin East improve to 3-0 on the year. Young should continue to lead Central Dauphin East.     [player_tooltip player_id='212414' first='Elias' last='Coke'] is a legit football player. In Harrisburg's 7-6 win he showed off his versatility with a game-saving play. He blocked the extra point to secure the 7-6 win. Coke is a legit wide receiver and defensive back. He has great size and speed to play either position at the next level, but he showed his versatility by blocking the extra point to secure the win. Coke is a football player who can do it all.     [player_tooltip player_id='1430239' first='Grady' last='Garner'] is someone who has legit speed and can score anytime he touches the ball. He also has a physical running style that is hard to bring down. Garner shows a good burst and hits the hole well. Garner is a good running back who flashed good running skills on Friday night when Governor Mifflin beat Hempfield when he rushed for 207 yards. He should continue to play well for Governor Mifflin.     [player_tooltip player_id='599007' first='Max' last='Heffner'] was the top target of [player_tooltip player_id='1430237' first='Hadyn' last='Moyer'] on Friday night as he put on a performance for the ages. He had 257 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns. Heffner has a great combination of speed and athleticism. He also showed good body control by catching the ball in tight windows all night. Heffner is a good player who with performances like this should have a good chance of playing College Football.     [player_tooltip player_id='452742' first='Michael' last='Glover'] is a tight end who is known more for his blocking and ability as a defensive end than a pass catcher. Last Friday, from his tight end position, he caught 8 passes for 132 yards. Glover is a tough matchup for most linebackers or defensive backs. He has the speed and the catch radius to make most plays from his tight-end position. Glover should continue to grow as a weapon in the passing game for Wilson.
