Chaffin was an absolute machine Friday night in the Bees 41-14 win over Lebanon with a performance that landed him an Eastern Ky offer. This Upperman junior quarterback dominated the contest with him causing damage both with his arm and his legs. Chaffin was 10-12 passing for 184 yards and three touchdowns while also producing 146 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Anything this Mid-TN signal caller wanted to do, he did it. The Blue Devils had no answer for him. This was an impressive performance against a 5A opponent that will turn the heads of collegiate coaches.

Whether it was on offense or defense, Palk was a beast against the Blue Devils and a key factor behind the Bees big road victory. The Bees senior backer produced a rushing touchdown on offense but I thought it was his play at linebacker that stood out the most. Palk made multiple plays behind the line of scrimmage that either slowed up and stopped a Lebanon drive. This is an aggressive ball player that competes exceptionally hard and it showed in Week Two.

Playing on both sides of the ball for his Upperman team, Phillips had himself a standout game versus Lebanon where he made several clutch catches on offense, including a TD reception as well as several batted passes and tackles on defense. The Bees junior was a clear top guy on the field Friday evening that seemed to show up big when his number was called. Phillips is an athletic, versatile guy that handles several roles for his team but should be their top ball carrier next year as a senior.

The lone bright spot for the Blue Devils on Friday was Edwards. Now he didn't do a whole lot of damage but the times he did touch the ball, the Lebanon ball carrier produced positive gains. He did produce the first touchdown of the night with a 90 plus yard kickoff return that displayed his speed and big play abilities. Edwards is an athletic guy that has some juice about himself and somewhat of a second gear that could develop even further on the collegiate stage. He will be needed much more throughout the season for Lebanon, if the Blue Devils plan to turn their season around.

(WR/LB) Theo Brown - Upperman: This is a hidden gem that could jump onto some college radars over the next few months. Bringing size and length to the field, Brown was a dynamic playmaker on both sides of the ball that produced several clutch plays.

‘26 (DL) JaJuan Stafford - Lebanon: The Blue Devils junior D-lineman did everything he could to be an active defender going against a potent Upperman offense and he did that. Stafford showed flashes throughout the game of being a guy to watch over the rest of the season and next year.

(LB) Jordan Jewell - Lebanon: If there was anybody that played hard for the Blue Devils from start to finish, it was this senior linebacker. Jewell was an active ball player that did his best to make every tackle possible while bringing good leadership to the defensive side of the ball.

‘27 (OL) [player_tooltip player_id='1566197' first='Parker' last='Cox'] - Upperman: The Bees run game had a big night and a lot of that was due to Cox and their offensive line. This sophomore starter is a name to know about for the future as he shows the physical look and game play of a future college guy.

‘26 (TE/DE) [player_tooltip player_id='1554229' first='Walter' last='Caine'] - Upperman: Caine was a major contributor in the Bees' victory over Lebanon. He caught the first touchdown pass of the game while also doing a good job of setting the edge on the D-line and slowing up the Blue Devils rushing attack.
