The lone bright spot for the Blue Devils on Friday was Edwards. Now he didn’t do a whole lot of damage but the times he did touch the ball, the Lebanon ball carrier produced positive gains. He did produce the first touchdown of the night with a 90 plus yard kickoff return that displayed his speed and big play abilities. Edwards is an athletic guy that has some juice about himself and somewhat of a second gear that could develop even further on the collegiate stage. He will be needed much more throughout the season for Lebanon, if the Blue Devils plan to turn their season around.

Harrison Edwards Harrison Edwards 5'8" | 170 lbs | RB Lebanon | 2025 State TN is an explosive RB at 5-foot-8 and 160-pounds out of Mount Juliet High School. He is a 1 cut style runner, excelling on outside zone runs. Edwards possesses the speed to capture the edge with a high step frequency and makes big time plays. Low center of gravity runner, he bounces off some tackles with nice contact balance. Good decisiveness, Edwards finds cutback lanes, pressing and cutting with the vision to find the holes.

This guy was easily one of the more athletic prospects in attendance as Edwards had many watching on hand impressed with his skill set and someone that should take on a bigger role for his junior season. Explosive, fast and dynamic, Edwards is an elusive playmaker that presents a lot of challenges for opposing defenders and he showed off those skills and then some at the combine on Sunday. The Golden Bears sophomore back was one of the best testers at his position and one of the best receivers during 1 on 1 competition. Expect to see Edwards’ role expand more for the 2023 season and keep growing his recruiting stock even further.
