One player who has stood out so far is safety [player_tooltip player_id='795605' first='Reid' last='McIntyre'], who has already recorded 29 tackles, 5 PBUs, and recovered a fumble four games into his junior season. Starting with the measurables, Reid has a solid frame at 6'1" and 185 pounds, with underrated speed that allows him to fly all over the field. What stood out the most about Reid was his physicality and willingness to step up and make a play against the run. Once he's read his keys, McIntyre has the closing speed to make his way up to the line of scrimmage to prevent big runs or to shut down screen plays while using good tackling technique to ensure his opponent drops to the turf. Reid also seemed fluid in coverage, with loose hips and quick feet that allowed him to flip and change directions without missing a step. Good use of hands to break up passes. Lots to like here!

[player_tooltip player_id='923427' first='Tavion' last='Johnson'] (Twitter), Raymond Central - WR - 6'3" 170 lbs

The Raymond Central Mustangs have been on a hot streak to start the season with a 5-0 record and a balanced offense. One reason the offense has been firing on all cylinders is the play of junior receiver [player_tooltip player_id='923427' first='Tavion' last='Johnson']. Tavion is quickly emerging as one of the top deep-threat receivers in his class, currently averaging 29 yards per reception as he's hauled in 11 catches for 318 yards and five receiving touchdowns. Johnson is a tall, lengthy receiver who can create mismatches on the perimeter with his size and ability to elevate over defenders for the ball. One aspect of Johnson's game that doesn't get enough credit is his 4.6 speed, which allows him to slip past defenders and stress defenses vertically. Don't mix him up for just another tall, deep-ball receiving target, as Tavion showed solid route-running ability during the PRZ showcase back in the spring. I wouldn't be surprised to see college coaches start looking Tavion's way soon!

[player_tooltip player_id='1217776' first='Nolan' last='Asher'] (Twitter), DC West - LB/TE - 6'4" 210 lbs

DC West's [player_tooltip player_id='1217776' first='Nolan' last='Asher'] caught our attention after a great sophomore season as a linebacker. Fast forward to his junior year, where Nolan is quickly emerging as a solid tight-end prospect. Playing both sides of the ball, Nolan has accumulated 250 receiving yards, three receiving touchdowns, 33 tackles, three TFLs, a sack, two interceptions, and a fumble recovery. The first thing I noticed when checking out Nolan is that he added some size, jumping from 195 to 205-210 pounds, and it looks like he could still keep packing his frame. I was impressed with his tight end highlights, where he flashed a very well-rounded skill set that you would like to see in that position. As a pass-catcher, Nolan has very reliable hands, regardless of whether he's having to jump up and adjust his body to the ball or with defenders in his face trying to rip the ball out. His size (6'4") and athleticism make it difficult for slower linebackers or smaller DBs to match up well against him. On top of that, Asher also proved to be a good route runner who can carve defenses at all levels of the field and has the awareness to find passing lanes when his QB is forced to improvise. Lot of upside on the defensive side of the ball as well. One of the top two-way risers in the 2026 class!

[player_tooltip player_id='470810' first='Treyton' last='Burke'] (Twitter), North Platte - LB - 6'2" 210 lbs

North Platte's [player_tooltip player_id='470810' first='Treyton' last='Burke'] is a bit of a throwback linebacker with the size and mentality to be an enforcer in the middle of the defense. Through five games, Treyton has racked up 47 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, 2 sacks, and a rushing touchdown on offense. Burke has a solid frame at 6'2” and 210 pounds, allowing him to lean into his tackles to deliver some brutal hits. He displays good lateral movement and has a quick first step when attacking downhill. Very smart at reading his keys with the ability to fill gaps effectively. He can fire off like a missile after reading his keying the run and uses his hands well to breakaway from blockers. Great motor— Treyton plays the game at full throttle and will look to make the play through the whistle. Definitely a player to keep an eye on this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1217729' first='Kip' last='Brigham'] (Twitter), Wahoo - RB - 5'10" 175 lbs

Talk about a breakout season! Wahoo's [player_tooltip player_id='1217729' first='Kip' last='Brigham'] had a major coming-out party earlier this season when he scored a record 7 touchdowns while putting up 342 rushing yards against Aurora. That game alone nearly matched his yardage total from last season and surpassed his touchdown total. Through four games (per MaxPreps) into his junior campaign, Kip has rushed for 749 yards and 14 touchdowns in only four games (available on MaxPreps). When you watch Kip's tape, you see a back who runs with great vision, allowing him to see the field extremely well and quickly find cutback lanes. As a defense, you can NOT let him find a crease because he flashes the burst and acceleration to take any run to the house. Excellent footwork while maintaining great balance through contact. Brigham's speed and versatility make it easy for his coaches to find ways to feed him the ball, lining him up in the slot, receiving out of the backfield, and having him return kicks. Expect this Warrior's team to make a deep playoff run if Kip keeps up this hot streak.

Make sure to follow @PRZ_OscarG for more news on Nebraska and Iowa HS recruiting.
