Josiah was huge in Week 4 against Yankton on the road, logging a workhorse like effort of 25 carries, 238 rushing yards, and four touchdowns. Josiah's explosiveness has gotten absurd with his sudden release point out of tight windows as too, his vision as really opened up as to why he is the top running back in state and I would the top back in the Dakotas too as Josiah has isolated himself from the pack. One of a few running backs on this list that knows how to use his transitional burst to his advantage. Josiah looks like a Division I running back in my eyes easily. Twitter

I feel like we have covered several Brookings Bobcats over the last year, but one that did a lot of damage to beat the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors on Friday was 2025 linebacker Gabe Stern. Talk about a young man that would have graded very well if we had a point scale as casting two turnovers, excellent ball-tracking, and sound position angles with nearly every tackle. Gabe's defensive efforts certainly solidified the Brookings defense to slow the Governors way off their pace in their huge win on Friday night.

Miles is another prospect that I caught wind of at the Dakota State prospect camp this summer as one that to me, looks like a great small school sleeper in the 2025 class. His stat line had 14 receptions for 215 yards which by the numbers was 53% of [player_tooltip player_id='825396' first='Alec' last='Austin']'s yards and 75% of their touchdowns from Austin. Miles shows off well-versed catch in traffic instincts and processes in the open field suddenly but with good vision to add to it. I don't believe this kid gets enough credit with his agile change of direction as he shows the capability to flip the field. I certainly believe Miles is a sleeper in this 2025 class. Twitter

Iden is a 2025 running back that it seems like week after week in the 2024 season, I see his name racking up yards upon yards for Kimball-White Lake and after seeing him keep raising his stock this week, I knew this young man was deserving of a tape eval. The sneaky and sudden change of direction Iden possesses has some bouncy footwork that can get east-west and then transfer north-south quickly. I like how fast Iden can change from using his patient vision to using his suddeness as that was true last week in his 22 rushes, 244 rushing yards, and three touchdown outing. He could certainly be a great small school fit on Saturdays. Twitter

Probably the best two-way performance I have seen this week in the Dakotas, came from Rapid City Christian 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='800377' first='Wesley' last='Schlabach']. 13 tackles, four total touchdowns (2 rush, 2 receiving) and 112 receiving yards and also a two point conversation, so 26 total points in all four the Comets on his stat line. Wesley on tape is a flyer on every end of the football field on both sides of the field. He has such great sideline to sideline presence and just consistently in the open field offensively has his foot on the gas pedal but his change of direction has so much balance for the pace he plays with. He is a constant ball-hawk which is why I see safety as his best fit at the next level due to his constant presence and total physicality he brings to the defensive side of the ball, but still has great position flexibility for those college coaches out there. Twitter
