It was an abbreviated schedule this week due to teams with byes and the effects of Hurricane Helene coming through the state on Thursday and Friday. But we were able to play some games on Wednesday and again on Saturday.

Here is a look at the players from the Midlands that garner Game Balls this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1575379' first='Jonathan' last='Clarkson'] RB, North Central

The Knights came out on the short end of a 41-36 loss to Buford, but Clarkson was a monster in the running game. He finished the evening with 278 yards on 24 carries and four rushing touchdowns.

Johnny Collins QB and [player_tooltip player_id='473013' first='Carter' last='Coleman'] WR, Blythewood

Collins threw for four touchdowns and 244 yards in a 35-13 victory over Spring Valley. His performance came on the heels of the Bengals being shut out the week before. Three of his scoring passes went to Coleman, who finished with four catches for 126 yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='756588' first='William' last='Geddis'] LB, Swansea

Geddis stayed in the Columbia backfield in the Tigers 20-6 win on Saturday. He recorded two sacks and two tackles for loss in the first half and was part of a unit that limited the Capitals to just 92 yards rushing. He also played tight end, and while wasn't involved in the passing game, he was instrumental with his blocking to aid the running game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1025815' first='Caleb' last='Geronomi'] WR and [player_tooltip player_id='1172366' first='Tyrone' last='Jennings'] DL, White Knoll

Geronomi was the favorite target of [player_tooltip player_id='346199' first='Landon' last='Sharpe'] and finished with nine catches for 153 yards and a 40-yard touchdown. That aided the running of Sh'Quez Montgomery, who finished with 106 yards and two touchdowns. Jennings was part of a defense that limited Fort Dorchester to just 177 yards of total offense in the 38-0 shutout. The Patriots didn't run a play in the Timberwolves territory until the fourth quarter.

Aden Jones QB, Lower Richland

Jones accounted for four touchdowns in a 27-21 victory over Crestwood.
