I lost count of the number of times when Nathen earned a tackle coming in from the backside on the inside run. Even on outside runs away from Nathen, he had the explosiveness and speed to catch up with the slow-developing play and make a high-effort tackle. He was going up against a phenomenal pair of tackles, but did a great job shedding blocks from them on running downs. Even on passing downs, it was apparent that Nathen has the explosiveness to win- he just needs a few elite moves.

On top of that, he's a PSTS guy, which is something I love. I know that he's putting in the offseason work and the fruits of his labor is paying off now.

Logan or the flash? Man, although Logan is massively undersized if we're talking college potential, he's an extremely explosive and fast athlete.

Logan broke several explosive runs for touchdowns. Part of that was due in part to great blocking, much of it was due to Logan's blazing speed. In fact, I'd love to see his 40 time. Not anything too fancy, just classic great vision and speed being a nightmare for a bad tackling defense.

He's very underdeveloped in terms of passing, but he did his job when Lowell opted to pass the football.

Number 10 was a massive early standout, and I had my eye on Brady throughout the entire game. Lining up in-line, Brady consistently dominated his blocks. His reach blocks in particular were extremely impressive and some of the best I've seen this season. Literally every single time I watched Brady block, he won, and he blocked to the whistle. Absolutely incredible blocking from Brady.

Brady also ran a few routes and earned a few targets. He had opportunities, but ultimately failed to secure any catches from what I saw. There was solid coverage on him, but he would have secured those catches with better hands.

At the very least, Brady is a very physical football player. I don't know what his lifting or athletic testing numbers look like, but if they are anything decent, Brady could be a phenomenal NAIA prospect.

Deakon is a classic power lineman in a run-heavy scheme. The Lowell offense commanded a lot of down and base blocks from Deakon, and he very consistently moved bodies. He had a powerful first step and always got a great initial pop on his opponent. The Marquette defensive line was extremely tired by the 2nd-quarter, and Deacon + the rest of the Lowell O-Line dominated throughout the game.

Dylan wasn't on my radar until I watched back my all-22 film from this game. Very consistently, Dylan was the first D-linemen off the ball and held good anchor on inside runs. He also showed a solid push-pull move.

I love a defensive lineman that knows how to get off the ball. So many talented linemen struggle mightily with getoff. Dylan is not one of those linemen. I'll admit that I didn't watch Casey too much throughout the game. Although he wasn't my focus, Casey had a few explosive runs.

He's a prime target for Lowell when it comes to runs outside the tackles. Casey has the athleticism to make guys miss in the open field and has the vision to effectively earn good yardage.

I need to watch Casey's tape later this season, but I am impressed with my first in-person watch.

Lowell beat the brakes off of Marquette yesterday. In all three phases, Lowell dominated. It was great seeing this program compete, and I'm extremely happy I made the trip out to watch this dominant performance. Now, I'll share my evaluations of six of the most impressive Lowell athletes.
