Louisiana's top Week 2 small schools performances

The second weekend of Louisiana high school football action was full of standout performances from all over the state.   Prep Redzone Louisiana has gathered more than 35 of the top stat lines. Tyrese Boast — 5-9, 150 RB/ATH — Church Point (2025)   Boast piled up 172 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in his Bears' 22-20 win vs. Marksville, while also adding a 45-yard receiving touchdown.   Cameron Bouley — 5-10, 150 RB/ATH — Welsh (2025)   The senior running back carried 15 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns to help pace the Greyhounds' 42-13 road win at Oakdale.   [player_tooltip player_id='915073' first='Dillon' last='Compton'] — 6-2, 190 QB/ATH — Bunkie (2025)   The Panthers' senior quarterback completed 15 of his 21 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns and rushed eight times for 90 yards and another two scores in a 55-10 rout of St. Louis Catholic.   [player_tooltip player_id='291147' first='Jonathan' last='Dartez'] — 5-9, 170 QB/ATH — Vermilion Catholic (2025)   The Eagles' dynamic senior quarterback added yet another big game to his lengthy resume with 218 yards and a touchdown on 8-for-14 passes and another 103 yards and three scores on 14 rushes in a 45-0 shutout of Class 4A Breaux Bridge.   Justin Drago — 5-7, 140 RB/LB — Metairie Park Country Day   The Cajuns' standout helped his team dominate the ground game with 234 yards on 30 carries in a 23-20 overtime defeat against the Class 4A Willow School.   Aiden Fairchild — 5-9, 155 DB/ATH — Pope John Paul II (2026)   The Jaguars' versatile standout scored touchdowns as a rusher, receiver and return man in a 48-6 rout of Varnado, including a 90-yard kickoff return as his most explosive play. Kennedy (2025)   The Louisiana Tech commit came up huge in the Cougars' 36-26 defeat of Class 5A Warren Easton with 194 yards and two touchdowns on just five catches — an average of nearly 39 yards per reception.   Tristan LeBlanc — 5-8, 185 RB/DB — Elton (2025)   The senior compiled 225 yards and four scores on 18 carries in Elton's 45-6 run past Northwood (Lena).   Jarrod LeBouef Jr. — QB — Ascension Christian (2026)   The junior quarterback racked up 362 yards of offense and four touchdowns, including three in the fourth quarter to help lead the Lions from a 36-7 deficit to a 43-42 defeat of Central Private.   [player_tooltip player_id='1224578' first='Calvin' last='Parker III'] — 5-8, 180 ATH — Lafayette Christian (2025)   The Knights' versatile senior leader helped spark the team early in its first-ever meeting with Class 5A Carencro with a 70-yard punt return to the end zone and added a handful of tackles, including one for loss; a 17-yard reception; and a snap at quarterback. Nathan Sanchez — 5-9, 160 ATH — Episcopal (Baton Rouge) (2025)   Sanchez rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-16 defeat of another of the state's top Class 2A teams in Northlake Christian. [player_tooltip player_id='291081' first='Kolby' last='Thomas'] — 5-11, 165 WR — Calvary Baptist (2025)   Playing against Class 5A Neville on short game-planning after a hurricane-forced scheduling change, the Louisiana Tech went for long touchdowns almost every time he touched the ball with six catches for 242 yards and four scores.   [player_tooltip player_id='934559' first='Javon' last='Vital'] Jr. — 5-9, 150 ATH — Hamilton Christian (2027)   The Warriors' versatile sophomore star spearheaded a 60-7 roll past Highland Baptist with his five carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns, completed 12 of 15 passes for 155 yards and another two scores and returned two punts for touchdowns.
