Between some region games starting to get sprinkled into our weekly slates and the final remaining non-region contests firing up, the Grand Strand and Pee Dee is full of players hoping to make their presence felt in Week 4.

In some circumstances, it's downright necessary.

Here are some of the players we're keeping a close watch on for this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1344769' first='Zaireon' last='Skinner'] and Bryce Holloway RBs, Waccamaw

It's taken some time to develop, but the Warriors' offense is starting to look like coach Amondre Johnson hoped it could. Much of that is because of Skinner and Holloway. The two players have combined for 462 rushing yards and three touchdowns in three games. They've also started to mix in some chunk plays that were absent in the not-so-distant past. And when you factor in quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='473025' first='Andre' last='Grate'] (97 yards, three touchdowns) and [player_tooltip player_id='473016' first='AJ' last='Grate'] (76 yards, three touchdowns), and Waccamaw has a multitude of weapons to keep the backfield fresh.

Levi Marlowe LB, Andrews

For as effective as edge [player_tooltip player_id='1025808' first='Chris' last='Stewart'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1013038' first='Khalil' last='Dorsey'] have been for the Yellow Jackets against both the run and pass so far this year, Marlowe is going to to have be on alert against the aforementioned Warriors' rushing attack on Friday. Waccamaw uses a lot of misdirection but will work the interior of the trenches - both because that's what worked and it's where Dorsey and Stewart won't be. Marlowe has proved himself a reliable tackler and may set his season high in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574055' first='Drew' last='Prince'] RB, North Myrtle Beach

Prince could be the key for the Chiefs keeping their fifth game of the year from looking like the first four. Against Goose Creek and Darlington, the Chiefs trailed by 14 points in the opening quarter. Against Loris, that trend continued in the second quarter, and West Brunswick achieved its two-touchdown lead in the third. Against Marlboro County, the Chiefs will be overmatched at most skill positions, but if Prince (323 yards, three touchdowns, 6.2 YPC) can keep North Myrtle Beach's offense on the field and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='985097' first='Landon' last='Cloninger'] and receiver [player_tooltip player_id='929482' first='Kaden' last='Gore'] can keep the passing game effective, who knows what could happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='473015' first='Tyleek' last='Dukes'] RB/DB, Kingstree

The Blazers' region-opening matchup against Marion isn't going to set any offensive records; the two teams have combined to score 33 points this year. That's where Dukes is going to need to start being more of a touchdown producer and not just a yardage-heavy back. So far, Dukes has been responsible for about 58 percent of the offense through four games, as Kingstree is breaking in freshman Makhi Shaw at freshman quarterback.

[player_tooltip player_id='1573996' first='Rahmond' last='Hamilton'] QB, Dillon and [player_tooltip player_id='1578854' first='EJ' last='Smith'] QB, Hartsville

Probably the highest-profile game in the zone this week may very well come down to the quarterbacks in charge of orchestrating the two run-based offenses. Hamilton has passed for 510 yards and seven touchdowns (no interceptions) and rush for another 116 yards and a score. Smith, also in his first year as the starter, has passed for 351 yards and three touchdowns against three picks. Hartsville's [player_tooltip player_id='1012592' first='Hakeem' last='Watters'] (264 yards, three touchdowns) and [player_tooltip player_id='1592473' first='Kylif' last='Miller'] (232 yards, two touchdowns) and Dillon's [player_tooltip player_id='346196' first='Jamarion' last='Fling'] (304 yards, six touchdowns) and [player_tooltip player_id='1025778' first='Domanick' last='Felton'] (214 yards, three touchdowns) will do the heavy lifting. But the Hamilton-Smith positional matchup could be the tipping point.

Andre Littlejohn LB, Mullins

The Auctioneers will have an excellent shot at moving to 5-0 while facing a heavily depleted Armada squad this week. And while Littlejohn can't be expected to replicate his 21-tackle performance from last Friday's 6-0 victory over Latta, he can put up some big impact numbers and do as much damage. He's also got six tackles for loss and a forced fumble this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1269581' first='Austin' last='Tanyika'] FB/TE, Aynor

While Tanyika didn't get a carry last week in the romp over Green Sea Floyds, he did catch a pretty 47-yard touchdown pass from [player_tooltip player_id='1734403' first='Luke' last='McCracken'] that in one play gave future opponents another wrinkle to this offense to prepare for. Still, we can't forget that with 23 carries in the first three games of the year, Tanyika had 242 yards and eight touchdowns. If he's in the backfield and gets the ball, there's a solid chance he's going move the chains, if not more.

Chris Quick WR, and Jkwon Brantley RB, Conway

The deeper the season goes, the more the Tigers will need not only out of receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1025782' first='Jordan' last='Jenkins'] but from the other offensive skill guys, too. Quick (pictured) and Brantley each had nice showings against Marlboro County last week despite a top-to-bottom talent disadvantage and what turned into a lopsided loss. Still, Brantley adds a measure of toughness carrying the ball and quick provides a quality secondary target for [player_tooltip player_id='1399640' first='Noah' last='Legg'] and the Conway passing attack.
