<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1507896' first='Jay'lin' last='Taylor'] is a dominant wide receiver out of Oxford that has been terrific for their passing attack this season. So far Taylor's junior season has been one to watch- he's made explosive plays against a bunch of really talented secondaries this year and has been QB [player_tooltip player_id='495323' first='Mason' last='Mims'] favorite target week after week. Taylor plays with a ton of speed, quickness, and toughness he uses to beat defensive backs downfield- he runs great routes, consistently gets great separation, and can make difficult catches along the sideline, in the open field, and when heavily covered. All of this has shown up on tape this season, Taylor has hauled in 37 receptions for 607 yards and 4 touchdowns in just the first half of the year. It's been really exciting watching Taylor this year, he's come a long way in his development and is putting the entire state on notice.
