Here is a scouring report on five prospects who caught my eye during the Friday Night contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115468' first='Kaden' last='Kearn'], DB, 5'11”, 175, Wamego, ‘25

Kearn brings the boom in “Boom Town.” He is ranked No. 82 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026. He is a hard-hitting linebacker who is super quick. He had multiple tackles for the Raiders and is the emotional leader for the defense. He is a tackle-machine who also made an athletic play for an early pass breakup. Kearn is also a solid baseball prospect who pitches and plays outfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='1261286' first='Talon' last='Conrad'], LB, 6'1”, 205, Wamego, ‘26

Another impressive Raiders linebacker was Conrad. Prep Redzone has him ranked No. 114 overall in the class of 2026. He can pressure the quarterback on a blitz and is not afraid to stick his nose into the middle of a pile.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113129' first='Logan' last='Fulton'], QB, 6'0”, 185, Wamego, ‘27

Wamego has a young quarterback running the offense. Fulton is ranked No. 17 overall in the class of 2027. I was impressed with his arm during a padded scrimmage over the summer, but in this game, he showed the ability to run the ball that I was not quite expecting. He has a quick release and I was surprised that the Raiders did not throw the ball more often early in the game. He has a bright future and should be a three-year starter if he stays healthy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1329854' first='Jackson' last='Tupps'], WR, 6'5”, 165, Wamego, ‘25

Tupps is the number-one threat in the passing game for the Raiders. He is ranked No. 159 overall in the class of 2025. He has great hands and can run every route in the playbook. He can catch screens or be a deep threat. He will get consideration for the Class 4A all-state team when the season concludes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115959' first='Dylan' last='Higgins'], DB, 5'10”, 130, Wamego, ‘27

Higgins was the biggest surprise for me during the game. He is ranked No. 91 overall and I expect him to move up during the next rankings update. He made multiple tackles in the open field that made me shake my head. He also plays shutdown man-to-man coverage. Moving forward I think the big question mark for him in recruiting will be what kind of speed he gets clocked at.
