We're checking out a handful of performances from this past week that deserve some attention. Some historic numbers were put up on Friday and we're looking at who and how!

Coming off of his best performance to date, what Bogucki did on Friday was nothing short of spectacular. He was in the second level ripping off huge chunks every time he touched the ball. I almost wondered if he would run out of energy, but he didn't. He finished the night with 315 rushing yards and 4 TDs as they cruised past Morocco.

Fancher is a dynamic and shifty wide receiver who is seemingly always open. He's got elite twitch and knows how to find the open areas in zone. He caught 15 passes on Friday and moved the chains when they needed it most. He had 190 yards and a pair of TDs off of those catches as they got the win. Get the ball in his hands and let him go to work after the catch.

I'm not sure how I could watch that Lafayette Jefferson game and not talk about their quarterback who was absolutely lights out. He rarely missed a throw, was on time and target, and led the offense confidently. He came out firing and never lost that confidence. 27 of 34 for 365 yards and 4 TDs Friday night as they blew out Muncie Central.

Starting to breakout and showcase that he's got a very bright future for Cathedral is Dangerfield who just put up his first 200-yard game of his career against Bishop Chatard. He's a dynamic runner who lets his blocks set up and has the speed to shoot out the other side. He's got a nice build for a young age and is gaining the confidence you want to see. His 201 yards and 2 TDs helped Cathedral blowout Bishop Chatard 31-7

Houze not only just put up career numbers on Friday, but likely historic numbers that may not ever be repeated. The final score of the game was 69-62, so just imagine how wild the offense was. Well, Houze threw for 638 yards and 8 TDs on the night, and it still wasn't quite enough to get them over the top. Big play after big play, shot after shot down the field, it was all working for Houze, the defense just needed to make an extra stop or 2.

It's been a steady process for Thembulembu, but it's finally all starting to pay off. At one point in time, he was one of the most undersized recruits in the entire class. Now, he's developed his frame and making plays for Fishers. He's always been a nimble and flexible athlete, and now that he has the size it's all coming together. He finished the night with 163 yards and 2 TDs with 2 catches for another 30 yards and a TD through the air. I like the progress he's made physically and mentally, so I'm stoked to see him performing at this level.
