2027 Rankings Update- Newly Added LBs!

King is coming off a terrific freshman season that saw him make a ton of plays against the run and pass. King is an excellent tackler, he plays with a ton of pursuit and flies all around the field to wrap up the ball carrier. It's really impressive watching how easy it is for King to make sideline-to-sideline plays- he has a ton of speed and isn't afraid to use it. Against the pass, King is a reliable blitzer and can even make some plays out in coverage if he has to. It was easy to see this last year as King ended his freshman campaign with 77 total tackles (42 solo, 35 assisted), 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Lewis lines up at middle linebacker and provides a ton of great play over the center of the field. Lewis is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and anticipation- he does a great job reading and reacting to plays and can quickly pursue and take down the ball carrier regardless of where he initially lined up pre-snap. Lewis plays really well against the run, he does a great job filling in gaps at the line of scrimmage and is a really reliable tackler. Lewis wraps up ball carriers really well but can also deliver some huge hits-it's really impressive to watch. Last season Lewis put a ton of great things on tape, if he continues to develop he's going to be a tough linebacker for offenses to gameplan around the next few years. Horn lines up at middle linebacker and does an excellent job reading and reacting to opposing offenses- he always finds himself near the action and does a great job tracking the ball to make tackles and force turnovers. Horn plays with a ton of quickness and physicality- he can make plays from sideline to sideline and can deliver some big hits to the ball carrier, especially against the run. It was easy to see all of these skills last season as Horn had a terrific first year as a starter. Throughout his freshman campaign, Horn recorded 82 total tackles (17 solo, 65 assisted) and two forced fumbles. It's super impressive watching Horn play as an underclassman, he already has a great understanding of the game and what he needs to do to be successful.
