2026 Rankings Risers: Offense

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep dive into the 2026 offensive prospects rising up the updated PRZ state rankings.</h2>    Vercher lines up and moves like a WR for Thousand Oaks but projects as a major D1 TE with his combination of length, size, and growth potential. At 6'4" 210 lbs. he's an impressive athlete that can drop his hip level and accelerate out of his breaks. Natural hands catcher that has the body control and coordination to adjust to ball flight. Good speed to attack vertically and run after the catch. Recruitment kicked off in the spring with two P4 offers from Arizona and Arizona State but expect more big time programs to pull the trigger as he's able to showcase his size and skillset.   4 Offers: Arizona, Arizona State, Toledo, Liberty      Lopez jumped 36 spots to #115 overall. 6'5” 320 lbs. he possesses a massive frame with good arm length. Quick feet out of his stance to gain positional leverage and shows he can move laterally to stay in front. Can overpower opponents with raw strength at the POA to drive them off the ball or control them with his hands in pass protection. Good contact balance and base in pass protection. Does a good job getting extension on his punches and can quickly reposition his hands to counter or when knocked down. Like his technique and execution of fundamentals. Picked up a handful of FCS offers as a sophomore and posted his first P4 offer from Arizona in March.   4 Offers: Arizona, Charlotte, Houston Christian, Jacksonville State      Rose bumped up 35 spots to #31 overall and the #5 ranked QB. At 6'2” 205 lbs. he's a gifted natural passer with exceptional arm talent. Smooth in the pocket, he's efficient and calm with his footwork while he goes through his reads and diagnoses coverage. Also a high level baseball prospect, he's able to throw from off balance platforms while seamlessly adjust his throwing angles and release points. Very reliable accuracy and arm strength to all three levels. Excellent deep ball passer that can throw over the top of the defense with touch and trajectory. Committed to Oregon State over the summer and will be one of the state's top passers over the next two seasons.   14 Offers: Oregon State, Arizona State, Oregon, Auburn, Arizona, Cal, Fresno State, Iowa State, Arkansas, Colorado State, Virginia Tech, Houston, Utah, Pittsburgh      Rolovich has had to be patient waiting for the starting spot which explains his current ranking but will quickly rise up if he continues on the same trajectory. He's an athletic dual-threat QB with a live arm. 6'4” 200 lbs. he's got good length to get added extension on his over the top delivery allowing him drive the ball into tight windows with velocity. Shows a good ability to anticipate and throw his receivers open with timing at the short and intermediate levels. Stands tall in the pocket and is able deliver an accurate ball under pressure. Can manipulate pressure and escape to either find a target downfield or tuck it and run. Dangerous as a ball carrier with the deceptive speed to breakaway from defenders. Expect to see him climb rankings and recruiting boards as the recruiting cycle progresses.   3 Offers: New Mexico Highlands, San Jose, Texas State      Impressive all-around football player that is a two-way playmaker for Miramonte. Long 6'4” 195 lbs. frame with good growth potential to add weight. Can effectively line up and make big time plays from multiple spots on both sides of the ball giving great positional flexibility for the college level depending on how he develops. At receiver, he's got a large catch radius that extends outside his framework. He competes for the ball and is able to create positional leverage by boxing out defenders at the catch point. Can create separation as a route runner at the short/intermediate levels or use his speed to stretch the field vertically. UNLV offered in early 2024 but should see a bump in recruitment going forward.   1 Offer: UNLV      6'0” 180 lbs. with a 77 inch wingspan, Williams possesses a lot of key traits as a major D1 receiver. He's a dynamic athlete with good twitch and explosiveness. He eats up DB's cushion in a hurry with a strong burst and drive phase off the LOS. Plus all-around game speed, he's able to accelerate out of his breaks to create separation. Strong ball skills, he's confident and tracks the ball well to his hands. Good combination of lateral agility and suddenness to elude defenders after the catch. Moved just inside the top 100 overall prospects and is one to watch playing in one of the top programs in northern California. He's a high upside prospect that holds six D1 offers to date.   6 Offers: Nevada, Cal, Washington State, Central Michigan, San Diego State, San Jose State      Meeks checks in just inside the top 100 overall and the #5 2026 RB in the state. At 6'1” 190 lbs. he's a complete back with the versatility to make an impact as a ball carrier or receiver out of the backfield. Natural fluidity in his movement, he makes explosive lateral cuts with good short area burst out to avoid tacklers. He presses the LOS quickly and flashes good vision to find and attack open running lanes. Can break first contact and then does a good job getting vertical up the field. Mixes it up with both speed and power running, he'll make one defender miss and then lower his shoulder to pick up tough yardage. Excellent receiver out the backfield or lined up the slot with strong hands and good body control. One of the top 2026 players in the central valley that holds two D1 offers thus far.   2 Offers: Washington State, Nevada
