Meeks is one of the more under-recruited kids across the central valley. The Junior running back is a very explosive and fluid ball carrier that can make big plays with the ball in his hands and is tough to bring down in the open field while a natural pass catcher as well. He has been dominating on the camp circuit this spring, and should have a very productive summer as well. He recently picked up an offer from Sac State and is a prospect that could draw in many more through the summer camp season.

Meeks is an explosive two-way playmaker for Central Catholic at RB and DB. Possesses a solid and well-built frame at 6’2” 195 lbs. that could transition well to multiple positions at the college level. At RB, he’s got natural ball carrier instincts with good vision to find running lanes and hit the cutback. He accelerates to top speed quickly once through the first level showing good sustained long speed once in space. Flashes quick lateral movement and cut ability to make defenders miss in both tight spaces and the open field. Aggressive when he hits running lanes and does a good job getting north and south early on in the play. A stronger runner that can absorb or deliver contact while maintain good leg drive and forward momentum. Ranked just outside the top 100 overall while collecting three offers thus far from Nevada, Washington State, and San Diego State.

Meeks checks in just inside the top 100 overall and the #5 2026 RB in the state. At 6’1” 190 lbs. he’s a complete back with the versatility to make an impact as a ball carrier or receiver out of the backfield. Natural fluidity in his movement, he makes explosive lateral cuts with good short area burst out to avoid tacklers. He presses the LOS quickly and flashes good vision to find and attack open running lanes. Can break first contact and then does a good job getting vertical up the field. Mixes it up with both speed and power running, he’ll make one defender miss and then lower his shoulder to pick up tough yardage. Excellent receiver out the backfield or lined up the slot with strong hands and good body control. One of the top 2026 players in the central valley that holds two D1 offers thus far.

Meeks is an upright runner with long strides and covers a ton of ground in the open field and is one of the top returning playmakers across the central valley. He looked smooth going through drills and showed lateral twitch and a consistent burst, and really took over the one on one session at the end of camp. Meeks showed that he can make defenders miss in the hole with short area quickness and body control, and is a a very impressive route runner out of the backfield or lining up in the slot. He holds one offer from Nevada, and should see no shortage of other opportunities come his way soon.
