Nelson has quietly established himself as one of the top rushers in the northern California region and is having a breakout senior year for the Raiders. He is a big and bruising runner that gets behind his pads with excellent contact balance and looks for contact in the hole and finished runs with nasty intentions. He is a smooth mover for his size, can navigate through traffic quickly and stays patient behind his blocks before making a decision at the second level. Nelson erupted on Friday night and rushed for over 230 yards and 3 scores in a blowout win over Sierra and is going to be a very nice late steal for a college program at the FCS+ level.
