CHESTER | On Friday night, Chester High school hosted the 16th annual Chester County Jamboree. It was a final tune-up for the six teams prior to the start of the regular season next week.

GAME 1: CAROLINA 8, GREAT FALLS 8

Tremain Caldwell - The quarterback from Great Falls went three of eight for 96 yards, as well as two interceptions. Caldwell added seven carries for 27 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Ball security will be key for Caldwell throughout the rest of season if Great Falls wants to have any success in year one under head coach Syvelle Newton.

GAME 2: LEWISVILLE 14, WARE SHOALS 0

[player_tooltip player_id='616374' first='Mikel' last='Hutchins'] - The running back from Lewisville had eight carries for 78 yards and a touchdown. Hutchins ran with both power and shiftiness. Only a junior, Hutchins has a bright future ahead of him this season and beyond.

Elijah Baker - A linebacker/running back from Lewisville, Baker finished the game with five tackles on defense, as well as one carry for four yards and a touchdown. Ware Shoals avoided Baker's side of the field for most of the game.

Jaquese Buchannan - At 6-foot-4, the defensive lineman from Lewisville stuffed the middle of the field all night long. Ware Shoals couldn't get anything going because of Buchannan's presence.

AJ Price - The running back from Lewisville had two impactful carries for 20 yards in the Lions' victory. Only a sophomore and making the most of his carries on Friday, Price ran hard downhill and carried defenders with him. He's a promising back for the Lions this season.

Marcell Fee - The kicker from Lewisville drilled two extra points as well as booming kickoffs all night long. A reliable kicker could be huge for Lewisville in tight games this season.

Zy Davis - The defensive back from Lewisville had a strong night on defense with not one but two interceptions. Great anticipation from Davis led to both picks. He has a chance to be a real lockdown defender this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165159' first='Jordan' last='Strong'] - Strong pounded the rock all night for Lewisville, as well as even throwing a couple of passes, both which were complete. A true downhill and shifty runner, not many people will have a chance tackling him one-on-one this season.

Jayden Johnson - The quarterback from Ware Shoals was a bit shaky in the air but did have three carries for 24 yards. With a little better ball security and a little better offensive line play, Johnson will have a solid season.

GAME 3: CHESTER 38, RICHLAND NORTHEAST 0

[player_tooltip player_id='272698' first='Will' last='Wilson'] struggled in limited playing time. He left the game after minimal series as a coaches' decision to preserve him for the regular season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1592278' first='Hudhaifah' last='Taylor'] - Taylor had eight carries for 106 yards and a score. His explosiveness made him impossible to tackle in the open field. He is primed for a huge season for Chester.

[player_tooltip player_id='457973' first='Trooper' last='Floyd']- The quarterback from Chester (pictured) showed great poise in the pocket, delivering balls at the right times and putting his receivers in his positions to make plays. He finished the night three for six, for 94 yards and a touchdown.

T'Cari Caldwell - The defensive back from Chester had a 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the final game of the evening. He also had several pass breakups and nearly a second interception that he dropped.

Omari Pendegrass - The slot receiver/running back from Chester racked up 82 yards on just seven carries. He was explosive out of the backfield and nearly impossible to tackle in the open field. He has the potential to be a huge Swiss army knife for the Cyclones this season.
