Here are some of the top quarterbacks to know heading toward the Corky Kell Classic next week...

[player_tooltip player_id='321465' first='Antwann' last='Hill'] Jr. - Houston County

One of the most productive quarterbacks across Georgia over the last two years, Hill Jr. is hoping to end his Houston County career on a high note as a senior. The big, strong-armed gunslinger threw for over 2,700 yards and 31 touchdowns as a junior last year with just five INTs. He's a multi-year starter who has played in big games over the years and has the ability to torch opposing defenses down the field. He'll continue to add more mass over time, but the arm talent has been on full display for years now. The Memphis Tigers commitment will lead the Bears against the Alpharetta Raiders on Saturday at 1:00 PM in Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta in week one of what could be another outstanding season for Hill Jr. and the Bears.

[player_tooltip player_id='908934' first='DJ' last='Bordeaux'] - Douglas County

Ranked as the No. 1 QB in Georgia for the 2026 class, Bordeaux is a transfer from Alpharetta who has arguably the best trio of receivers to throw to across the state. Bordeaux has weapons all over the place and has a chance to light up the stat sheet as a junior for the Tigers this fall. His first test will be Saturday night on August 17th inside Mercedes-Benx Stadium in Atlanta against Cedar Grove. The Tigers have their eyes on a state title this year, and if they want to get it done, Bordeaux will need a giant year. Look for him to air it out in a big way to kick off the 2024 season. He already has a giant offer list, but more could be on the way with a massive 2024 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='205701' first='Brodie' last='McWhorter'] - Cass

One of the top overall quarterbacks across the state, this impressive passer is currently committed to West Virginia. He's bound for a massive junior season, and his first test will come in a big game against a talented Calloway team. If he can play strong in week one, look for McWhorter to have a giant season through the air this fall. The talent and arm talent is easy to see, so don't be surprised if he leads this promising Cass program to a deep playoff run last fall. He's coming off a strong sophomore season, has a stout offensive line in front of him, and still has his best football way ahead of him. McWhorter and the Colonels take on Callaway Friday the 16th at 5:000 PM at Rome's Barron Stadium.

[player_tooltip player_id='422536' first='Max' last='Walraven'] - West Forsyth

Is 2024 the year for this promising passer at West Forsyth? This young man was well known coming into high school and has gotten better and better through his first two seasons. As a sophomore last year, the big 6-foot-5 195-pounder threw for 14 touchdowns in nine games, but if he can stay healthy all year long and continue adding more weight and muscle, Walraven has a chance to have the big season many feel he's bound for. He's got a big challenge in front of him with Prince Avenue Christian coming to town, a team loaded with talented defenders. If Walraven can make big throws and lead the Wolverines to victory, look for him to have a giant junior season this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='283868' first='Kade' last='Wigginton'] – QB – South Paulding

One of the top quarterbacks west of Atlanta and across the state in the 2026 class, Wigginton brings impressive arm talent and above-average athleticism in a 6-foot-1 190-pound frame. As a sophomore last year, Wigginton had some up and downs, but he progressed more and more as the season went along. The South Paulding signal-caller showed last year he could make big throws into tight windows down the field and has the potential to lead South Paulding to a strong season as a junior. The first test is Dunwoody, playing on Thursday, August 15th at West Forsyth High School. Look for this promising, mobile passer to get off to a hot start to a very important junior season.
