Skyridge vs. Timpview: Prospects to Put on the Radar

Football season has finally begun as the 6A Skyridge Falcons visited the 5A Timpview Thunderbirds. Both teams contain rosters filled with potential prospects that can play at the college level. Check out our live evaluations on prospects that are flying under the radar that you should know.   [player_tooltip player_id='698541' first='Carson' last='Rasmussen']: QB || 5'11 || Timpview HS || c/o 2025   Rasmussen is an athletic prospect with a fast wind up delivery that gives the ball a tight spiral with speed. Has the arm strength to deliver the ball downfield and accuracy to hit his targets. Mobility to move around the pocket, scramble and throw on the run. Poise to stay in the pocket and deliver the pass. Rasmussen has been flying under the radar for some time yet his performance against a good Falcon's defense should earn him some offers.   Kaneal Sweatwyne: QB || 6'3 || Skyridge HS || c/o 2026   Sweatwyne is an athletic prospect with a fast wind up delivery that gives the ball a tight spiral. Has the arm strength to deliver the ball downfield. Mobility to move around the pocket, scramble and throw on the run. Poise to stay in the pocket to deliver the pass. Sweatwyne showed traits to be a good QB and this season against quality opponents will only make him better.   Zayden Selu: HB || 5'9 || Skyridge HS || c/o 2025   Selu is an athletic prospect with burst as a runner. Can pick, slide and accelerate to the hole to run between the tackles. Lowers his pads in short yardage. Speed to bend the corner and accelerate on outside runs. Hands to be involved in the passing game. Selu has the frame to add size and is currently flying under the radar. Will continue to play a big role in the Falcon's offense this season.   [player_tooltip player_id='894739' first='Ryder' last='Holt']: LB || 6'3 || Skyridge HS || c/o 2025   Holt plays the middle linebacker position in the Falcons defense. Plays with initial quickness to read and react to play at the LOS. Shows UOH to fight off blocks to find ball carriers in the run game. Burst as a blitz rusher and a sure tackler at the LOS and the open field. Shows pursuit ability from snap to whistle. Keep an eye on Holt this season as he continues to showcase his talents in the 6A class.   Luke Davis: OL || 6'0 || Skyridge HS || c/o 2025   Davis a physical prospect that plays along the interior in the Falcon's offensive line. Shows ability to bend at the LOS. Explosion as a run blocker with strength, leg drive and hip roll. Ability to set his base, hands to give contact and sustain his feet in pass protection. Davis has the size and movement to play along the interior in a zone blocking scheme at the next level.   Other Prospects Flying Under the Radar:   [player_tooltip player_id='698539' first='Siosaia' last='Hifo'] - The 5'11 defensive back has the size and athletic ability to SLOT in a zone coverage scheme.   [player_tooltip player_id='1309966' first='Chevas' last='Gregory'] - The 5'10 prospect is a bruising back to keep an eye throughout the season as he contributes to the T-Birds offense.   Alema Foster - The 6'0 interior lineman has a wide frame to play physical and has championship experience to anchor the T-Birds offensive line.   [player_tooltip player_id='894687' first='Matthias' last='Lesa'] - This 6'3 tackling machine has been productive for the T-Birds the past two seasons.   [player_tooltip player_id='894693' first='Filimone' last='Fangupo'] - The 6'0 interior line prospect shows physical hands and quick feet movement that deserves more offers.
