Miguel Brown is amidst a breakout senior season and is a massive senior sleeper. Brown already has 4 sacks on the year, including a 3 sack breakout performance to kick off the year. He plays on the edge, overwhelming blockers with his speed and instantly sending the QB in retreat. Upon contact, he is violent. Due to his size, Brown will likely end up sliding back and playing as a traditional LB in college. On tape, he shows the range needed to roam sideline to sideline. Brown is super athletic and flies to the football with violence. Both of those traits are college-worthy.

Tymir Jones has been amongst the most explosive and productive RBs in the state through the first two weeks. He has averaged over 17 yards per carry and found the endzone 6 times. Jones isn't built like your traditional RB. He is tall and lanky, but runs squared and upright, allowing him to run through some arm tackles and regain balance after contact. He relies on his change of direction and straight-line speed to weave in and out of running lanes and take advantage of the yards available. I expect Jones to remain towards the top of the list in several major rushing categories this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1184819' first='Lawson' last='Sullivan'] is a versatile athlete who is standing out early this fall. Sullivan plays QB, DB, and will return kicks on special teams. As a runner, Sullivan is incredibly explosive and fast. He quickly finds his top speed and can make subtle adjustments while maintaining his speed. In the open field, he builds away from defenses and is a size/speed combo that is hard to stop for the level of competition. Sullivan is also a baseball athlete, so he can throw the football around the yard. Sullivan has reported an offer, but he deserves much more and can play multiple positions at the next level. He is someone I am watching as a potential late bloomer.

In my opinion, Lenoir-Rhyne snagging the commitment of Chase Cromartie is one of the biggest steals I have seen in the 2025 class. Cromartie is a tall and lanky QB with physical upside and athletic indicators off the charts. He has charted GPS speed above 21 MPH and is a verified 10.46 (!) 100M runner. As you can imagine, he is an elite runner and is showing it during the early part of the season. His speed is just too much to handle. If given space to run and get to his top speed, he will run past and stay away from everyone on the field. Cromartie is fully capable as a passer, too. He rips through the ball and can drive it over the middle of the field. He is fully capable arm strength-wise of making tough throws. Cromartie is an exciting prospect who is somehow very under-recruited.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572586' first='Leshawn' last='Stuckey'] is a physical outlier on the field for Banneker and is hyperproductive as a tackler. He is a stout, strong 6'2 225ish, allowing him to play strong in the gaps and hold his own against blockers. He isn't the speediest prospect, but he does find himself around the ball, which he showed during his double-digit tackle performance to start the year. At contact, he strikes with good pad level, driving into the trunk of ball carriers. From there, his play strength and size do the rest. Stuckey is worthy of college attention and could play himself into some opportunities with his current production.

I am a fan of the tape Leverett has put out during the early part of the season. He plays all over the field, but projects as a WR. Leverett can stop and change direction on a dime. He would be hard to tackle in a phone booth, frequently making his way out of tough situations to open grass with his fiery footwork. He is more twitchy than fast, but he does have enough straight-line speed to rally off explosive plays. When he flips around and plays defense, he comes downhill hard and strikes well for his size.
