Rankings Update: New Class of 2027 Linebackers

I've been impressed with him since this summer where he showed well at a Johnson C. Smith University Camp. Justin is showing to be extremely physical in stopping the running game and he's tackling well in space. It's even more impressive to do it in a program that won the state championship last season. I love Rex's burst off of the football and a mix of pass rush moves he uses to get to the quarterback and raise havoc. Rex does a good job of keeping an offensive lineman's hands off of him and shows a special ability to bend the "short corner" to get to the quarterback when he remains in the pocket. Tanner does a good job with reading the play as a middle linebacker, scraping to the football, and making tackles in slowing down the interior run game. Reviewing his Twitter profile, Tanner is an extremely strong and hard working prospect. Jessie is showing patience in reading the play, attacking the right gap, and making solid tackles in the run game. On blitzes, Jessie's timing at the snap is good, and his ability to re-direct on the run is a plus. Finally, Jessie shows good speed in space in pass coverage, breaking down on running backs and receivers in space and making solid tackles.
