Charlie Loose 2025 Rockhurst
(6'2" 186)
Replaces three year starter Ethan Hansen who threw for over 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns. Charlie is a player who has stepped up this offseason and impressed his coaches with his decision making and throwing ability to earn the starting job. He's a solid athlete and shows good leadership.

Brad Doll 2026 Kearney
(6'1" 165)
Replaces Casey Rooney who lead the Bulldogs to a state championship in 2023. Brad is a good athlete who has been a standout on the basketball court and has the confidence of his coaches that he can get the job done in replacing the talented Rooney. He will receive competition this season from talented sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1265525' first='Carter' last='Temple'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1130992' first='Jonathan' last='Moore'] 2027 Lutheran North
(6'0" 205)
Replaces [player_tooltip player_id='188600' first='Dakarri' last='Hollis'] who has transferred to Parkway North after throwing for over 2,400 yards and 34 touchdowns, while rushing for over 800 yards and scoring 14 more touchdowns. Jonathan is possibly the top young dual threat in the state and a very talented athlete who is up to the job of being a 2,000 yard passer and 1,000 yard rusher in 2024. He had a great spring and summer of camps and combine performances.

[player_tooltip player_id='402127' first='Kyren' last='Eleby'] 2026 SLUH
(6'2" 300)
Replaces Marco Sansone who threw for over 2,900 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2024. Big Ky has shown flashes of his potential the past few years when given the opportunity and with 7v7 play. He has a big arm and very quick release that he uses to throw on a rope to receivers. Very accurate and with good ball placement. Does a good job reading defenses and making decisions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1260496' first='Clay' last='Turk'] 2025 Lee's Summit North
(6'1" 210)
Replaces Elijah Leonard who threw for over 2,200 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2023 at the Broncos starter. Clay comes to the KC area with a good reputation following his junior season in California. I had the opportunity to watch his impressive performance at the KC Varsity combine back in April where he won co-MVP of the QB position on the day. He sees the field well and was on the money with his passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1250604' first='Ivan' last='Dean'] 2026 Holt
(6'0" 195)
Replaces Ayden Sullivan who threw for almost 2,700 yards and 35 touchdowns. Dean is athletic and brings a dual threat option as a quarterback. He also has the skills to get the job done as a true passer and will bring an added dimension to the Indians offense. He has some top returning receivers to get the ball to back to help his transition to starter.

Brayden Layman 2025 Lee's Summit
(6'0" 185)
Replaces Dawson Heeney who threw for over 2,200 yards and 15 touchdowns. Brayden has been a tireless worker this offseason to improve his skills as a quarterback and it has paid off, both with earning the Titans starting job, as well as in earning his first college football offer. He's a good athlete who can make all the throws.

[player_tooltip player_id='1252065' first='Mason' last='Shearer'] 2026 Southern Boone
(6'3" 193)
Replaces Austin Evans who threw for over 2,700 yards and 38 touchdowns in 2023. Mason has great size and all the physical tools you look for in a quarterback. He had a very good offseason both training and was impressive at the KC Varsity combine in St. Louis with his velocity and accuracy on his passes along with his athleticism he showed. He's a player that could really help himself with a big season.
