Preseason 5A All State 1st & 2nd Team – Offense

The Oregon 5A Preseason All-State team is structured to highlight those individuals who project to be the most valuable on their individual teams. It is NOT a list with just the top recruits. Instead of honorable mention picks you will see extended 1st & 2nd team selections. Also referenced will be the Offensive & Defensive POY candidates.    Please note that this is not an all-conference breakdown, so it will be much more difficult to make this team when incorporating the entire state. Look for [player_tooltip player_id='406763' first='Noah' last='Blair'] of Thurston and [player_tooltip player_id='511861' first='Sawyer' last='Teeney'] of Silverton to be POY favorites & have their teams in the hunt for a state title. Both athletes put up incredibly impressive numbers last season with Teeney accounting for 2,923 total yards and 34 TDs/6 INTs, while hitting on 69% of his passes. Blair has one of the fastest rising stocks in the state on the PRZ rankings board, passing for 3,062 yards and 39 TDs on 74% passing.    Returning Oregon 5A POY [player_tooltip player_id='511864' first='Mark' last='Wiepert'] went for 1,919 yards and 21 TDs last season helping the Wildcats to the state title. The OSU Baseball commit could move to the QB spot with the graduation of Kallen Gutridge.    You can also expect Mountain View of Bend to once again be ranked towards the top of the charts after dropping last year's 5A title game to Wilsonville 29-23. 6-4 WR [player_tooltip player_id='754594' first='Jack' last='Foley'] is one of the top recruits and overall athletes in the state, going for 17 TDs last season. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1011382' first='Angel' last='Valenzuela'] is right there with him if we are talking on POY accolades, after rushing for 1,816 yards and 28 TDs as a sophomore.    Two other QB's not to sleep on include [player_tooltip player_id='285871' first='Kaden' last='Martirano'] who transferred from West Salem to West Albany, and [player_tooltip player_id='754681' first='Kellen' last='Oliver'] of Canby. Oliver has a chance to set some school passing records throwing to 6-6 [player_tooltip player_id='1095838' first='Jack' last='Brauckmiller'] and 6-5 WR [player_tooltip player_id='406754' first='Jackson' last='Doman']. Both Doman and Brauckmiller are high profile D1 guys.    [player_tooltip player_id='285874' first='Nick' last='Crowley'] of Wilsonville has had a phenomenal off season adding an offer from Drake, while catching 58 passes for 1,055 yards and 15 TDs last year. RB [player_tooltip player_id='754595' first='Ceville' last='Pasi'] of Churchill projects defensively but rushed for 20+ TDs last year just to put his overall versatility into perspective.    The TE spot is another strong position within the state. Brauckmiller will project as a 4* athlete with Washington St commit [player_tooltip player_id='407173' first='Austin' last='Simmons'] listed as the #6 overall recruit in Oregon for the 2025 class. I would also keep an eye on 1st team all-conference returner [player_tooltip player_id='1216435' first='Brody' last='Kuenzi'] who will lead a top ranked Silverton team.    Up front on the O line [player_tooltip player_id='285851' first='Jace' last='Eveland'] and brother [player_tooltip player_id='426586' first='Peyton' last='Eveland'] of Redmond should be able to dominate and control games to an extent up front. You can't teach the 6-7 and 6-8 size as both will be big time D1 guys.    1st team all-league returner [player_tooltip player_id='902459' first='Gabe' last='Haines'] is legit and on the D1 bubble, along with [player_tooltip player_id='527043' first='Brody' last='Sahlfeld'] of Glencoe who many folks still don't know about.
