Whites Creek: (DL) Kyle Bryant

- Elliott has been a solid contributor for his Red Hawks team for the better part of two years now but he is headed into the senior season looking to put out his best season yet. Elliott has a great opportunity at becoming his team's go-to target on offense as well as a key starter on defense. Sporting great size and length, Meyer is a little known prospect from our #TN2025 class that can use this senior season to boost his profile as well as become his team's MVP. Since his sophomore season, Jones has been the Tigers top explosive wideout and this year he has a shot at competing for All-State honors. His value on offense as well in the return game is very important, presenting Jones as the team's top playmaker. Conner is a thumper at safety that put forth a strong junior campaign but he's looking to double up his production this Fall and place himself in the mix for a college opportunity.

One of the best available college prospects left from our #TN2025 class, Kinnard is a dangerous offensive weapon that can be utilized in a variety of ways. The Firebirds senior is a definite Mr. Football candidate this year that can help lead his Pearl Cohn team back to the 4A title game and repeat as champions. Keep eyes out on Crisp this season as a potential breakout star and someone that could lead the state in sacks. His off-season work has been tremendous and I expect a big year out of this potential D1 player. White House will be looking for a big year out of Holt and I expect that to happen. The Blue Devils athlete is a dynamic prospect with big play abilities and a tenacious, winning attitude. The Cobras are still looking to move up the region charts but it will be tough, however play from their D-line and a guy like Bryant will go a long way towards winning ball games.

4A-Region 6 Team MVP's

Chester Co.: (Ath) Jaylen Edgeston

Hardin Co.: (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1200996' first='Jacob' last='Saunders']

Jackson North-Side: ‘26 (Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='1103009' first='Javonte' last='Smith']

Jackson South-Side: (DE/LB) Khamyrhan Caldwell

Lexington: ‘26 (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='1748382' first='Amarion' last='Arnold']

South Gibson: (TE/DE) [player_tooltip player_id='848818' first='Gabe' last='Lovorn']

- The Eagles presented several options for the team MVP this year but I saw Edgeston as being the most valuable due to his athleticism and ability to excel on both sides of the ball. Moving on from the era of Carter Smith, the Tigers could now lean on Saunders and their rushing attack. This 5 '10 bulldozer is an excellent down hill runner that could contend Mr. Football this season. Much will be expected from Smith this Fall as he looks like the Indians top overall athlete and playmaker that will be going both ways. Not sure just yet if receiver or safety is his college future but for his high school team, Smith will need to be the top guy at both.

Caldwell is a multi year defensive starter that heads into his senior year as a team leader and someone expected to play at a high level. If you're wanting a breakout star in the 4A ranks this year, it could be Arnold. The Tigers junior running back shows explosive flashes on the film that translates well to the college game. He should be the focal point within a run based Tigers offense this season that puts him on the map. Sitting inside our Top 100 prospects for the #TN2025 class, Lovorn is the true leader and warrior for his Hornets ball club that will be going both ways this year where he can excel at both tight end and edge linebacker.

4A-Region 7 MVP's

Crockett Co.: (DB/WR) [player_tooltip player_id='829084' first='Deuce' last='Greenhill']

Dyer Co.: (DB/WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1269114' first='Jamin' last='Gaulden']

Fayette-Ware: (DB/WR) Fred Washington

Haywood: (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='466233' first='Camarion' last='Miller']

Obion Co.: ‘26 (TE/DE) [player_tooltip player_id='1584097' first='Morgan' last='Carpenter']

- Greenhill put himself on the map last Fall where he was the Cavaliers top playmaker then proceeded to string together a strong off-season campaign where he landed several college offers. His value on both sides of the ball is huge and I think Greenhill could sneak his way into the Mr. Football conversation by season's end. The Choctaws have a hidden gem in Gaulden that shows on the film the upside to play cover corner on the college stage. He is a strong athlete that will be the team's top go-to receiver as well.

The Wildcats at Fayette-Ware appear to be in a transitional year, so there could be several options for team MVP by season's end but Washington looks like a good option as someone that should excel at both receiver and defensive back. One of the top returning rushers in the state, Miller is poised for another big season where it could land him in consideration for Mr. Football. The Tomcats senior back is tough to deal with due to his size, balance and quickness through the hole. Under a new coaching staff, Carpenter will be asked to do a lot as he handles tight end on offense then gets after the quarterback at defensive end.

4A-Region 8 MVP's

Craigmont: (RB/S) Marcus Randolph

Kirby: (OL) Theo Tucker

Melrose: (RB) [player_tooltip player_id='219401' first='Jamarion' last='Morrow']

Millington Central: (LB) [player_tooltip player_id='480902' first='Cameron' last='Puryear']

Ridgeway: ‘26 (RB/LB) Montrell Harding

- Several players have moved out of the Craigmont program this off-season, which leads to opportunities for others, including Randolph, who should be starting on both sides of the ball as one of the team's top playmakers. Tucker is a massive O-lineman that has a great chance in front of him this year to boost his stock significantly and get himself on the college radar. Morrow moving over to Melrose late in the summer allows the Golden Cats to not only compete for a 4A title but also bring home a potential Mr. Football winner. Puryear had himself a breakout season last year as a junior where he led the Trojans in tackles and I expect him to do the same this Fall. Ridgeway lost a few key starters this off-season to other teams, which means opportunity is there for someone like Harding to step into a starting role and shine.
