<p>The two time defending State Champion Red Devils headed South to Montezuma with a chip on thier shoulder after losing Week 1 to Fellowship Christian on a last second TD. Bowdon scored quick and early and took a commanding 35-7 lead into halftime in this matchup of Top 15 teams in Class A D2. </p>

<p>The Class A D2 Bulldogs held off a hungry Dade County Wolverine (A D1) on the road. Magic Morgan Stadium is always a tough place to play for the away The Bulldogs racked up 244 yards in the 1st half and held a 31-13 3rd Q lead before the Wolverines came storming back. </p>

<p><strong>'25 QB Kade Smith</strong> (5'10 175) the 4 year starting QB passed for over 200 yards for his second consecutive week. He tossed 3 TDs and added a rushing TD in the win. The multisport, dual threat QB needs more attention in the recruiting world. </p>

<p><strong>'25 WR/CB [player_tooltip player_id='1552049' first='Ethan' last='Willingham']</strong> (6'1 180) hauled in 5 catches for 97 yards and a TD on the night. Willingham has grabbed the attention of the RedZone staff on several occasions this off season, being named as one of our Breakout Players for 2024. An athletic, good route runner that had close to 700 yards receiving last year</p>

<p><strong>'25 RB Evan Koger</strong> (6'0 180) a shifty Dade Co RB that has eclipsed the 100 yard mark in both of the Wolverines games this season. </p>

<p><strong>'27 QB [player_tooltip player_id='315480' first='Ethan' last='Tisdale']</strong> (6'1 174) completed 9 of 12 passes for 150 yards and 2 TDs and is proving to be one of the top 2027 QB prospects in our Area. <strong>Senior RB Dereon Pearson</strong> (6'1 200) had a breakout game with 16 carries for 125 yards and 2 TDs. Physical North South RB that is hard to stop on initial contact. </p>

<p>The Class A D2 Dragons hosted the Class 3A Tigers on Thursday night in Lindale. The Dragons held their own early, but the Tigers pulled away in the 2nd half on a 4 TD performance from Tiger Senior <strong>QB [player_tooltip player_id='1555652' first='Ethan' last='Long'] </strong>who finished the game with 389 yards passing on 39/47 attempts with 0 Interceptions. </p>

<p>Pepperell's <strong>'25 TE/LB Sam Wooten</strong> (6'2 215) continues to show why he is one of the best unsigned LB prospects in the NWGA Area. Physical kid that has the speed, 4.56 recorded 40, to pursue sideline to sideline. A solid tackler that can help you on the offensive side and special teams at the next level, doesn't mind blocking. </p>

<p><strong>'25 RB [player_tooltip player_id='1637224' first='CJ' last='Gray']</strong> (5'9 194) scored on a 48-yard run on his only carry of the night. Solid RB prospect that can do it all out of the backfield. Ran a 4.47 this Summer at the Shorter U camp and was clocked at 22.5 mph on the Catapult system. A true Diamond in the rough. </p>

<p><strong>'25 ATH Cayson McAnallen</strong> (5'10 172) an under the radar guy on a talented Temple Tiger roster. McAnallen scored TDs on both of his touches on Friday, a 19 yard run and a 6 yard reception. A 3 sport athlete that was clocked at over 20 mph this Summer. A late bloomer on the recruiting trail that deserves a look at the next level. </p>

<p>The Lions rebounded nicely after their Week 1 lose at Heritage.<strong> '25 QB Carter Tripplett</strong> (6'4 220) accounted for 6 TDs, 5 passing and 1 rushing, on the night. The Senior QB is a guy we have been high on for several years here at Prep Redzone and is one of the best dual threat prospects in the NWGA area.</p>

Cook has rushed for over 500 yards in the Indians 1st two games. He received offers this off season from Wofford and Shorter and will have recruiters firing up the film this weekend. </p>

<p>The #9 Fannin County Rebels knocked off #10 Rabun in convincing fashion on Friday. Senior <strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id='1637205' first='Carson' last='Callihan']</strong> (5'11 200) had a great all around game putting up 223 total yards. He averaged over 10 yards per carry and scored 3 of the Rebels TDs. A 4.0 student that is a beast in the weight room and a coaches favorite, is one of the diamonds in the rough in North Georgia this Fall. </p>
