NORTH DAKOTA-- We meet the key newcomers this morning that were added to our 2025 North Dakota rankings last week. If there is one thing you notice from this group, is many of them hit the college prospect camps hard this summer, which for us will always raise your stock as a college prospect more than others. I also disclose who one of the states biggest sleepers might be in 11AAA.

One of the 2025 running backs I have high expectations for in 11AA is Minot North's [player_tooltip player_id='1396179' first='Carter' last='Coleman']. According to a source, this young man's skillsets have rose significantly over the last 2-5 months and he just needs to put it all together with his senior tape to get more looks at the next-level. Wait and see what the upcoming tape looks like over the coming weeks for Carter for sure.

It has been no secret, prospects make their scholarship money for their performance at camps, especially in the NSIC which is the case for our new LB2 [player_tooltip player_id='1189180' first='Olav' last='Taylor'] of Bismarck Century. Olav started his rise of a summer at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine where he took home our LB MVP as Olav passed the eye test with flying colors, showed off the catchy motor and showed off the instinctive movement and physicality to be a great asset at the next level at linebacker. Even by looking at his Week 1 tape, the suddenness of Olav's first step to the ball has certainly risen since 3-4 months ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1370689' first='Hudsen' last='Sheldon'], QB/ATH, Mandan Twitter

There was a 2025 North Dakota prospect that made a bigger splash at the second UND Flagship Camp this summer than Mandan quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1370689' first='Hudsen' last='Sheldon'], not even close. To not much surprise in Week 1, Hudsen logged six total touchdowns to upset 11AAA runner up in 2023 Fargo Shanley, showing off the elusiveness outside of the pocket that provides pass/run options for Hudsen to utilize his full athleticism. His excellent ball-placement standouts on basically any route he throws into and no doubt this kid will be the top quarterback in 11AAA this 2024 season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1224761' first='Jordan' last='Hernandez'], RB, Alexander Twitter

Jordan was yet another prospect that made his biggest flash at prospect camps this summer. The Minot State commit certainly impressed me with his versatility he showed off in the live-eval I got from him as he was a more efficient pass-catcher out of the backfield and showed off the work-horse mentality with yards after contact to use his quick trigger to get into the open field. His Week 1 performance shows exactly what I caught in the live-eval, as Jordan got the blue-collar yards thru contact inside and then used his sudden burst to get outside. The Beavers are getting a kid in Jordan that will be an excellent locker room guy with his character.

[player_tooltip player_id='1273571' first='Cameron' last='Klefstad'], TE, Grand Forks Red River Twitter

Cameron was another 2025 prospect that stood out in Sioux Falls at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine, being named to our first team for tight ends. Cameron constantly in live reps showed off the great size of his hands and I felt from watching him this summer has developed his position angles within his routes to better suit his game as a short-yardage target that has the body type to extend for YAC around the first down marker and the red zone in 2024. He shows off sudden change of direction for his size coming out of a blocking stance to add value as a pass-catcher in the open field. Cameron is one that I expect to rise and get some late Division II attention come his way this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1381673' first='Landon' last='Bedell'], DE/TE, Minot

It is time to meet in my eyes, North Dakota's best kept secret in the 2025 class in Minot defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1381673' first='Landon' last='Bedell']. The 6'6 220 pounder plays on both sides of the line, but I believe his best upside comes at defensive end due to his length and vision. He shows off on tape the growth he had in 2023 getting to the point of attack faster the deeper you got into his take with the development of his shedding strength. The upside I see too with Landon is the versatility he can grow with his moves as a pass rusher as no doubt he is a mismatch strength wise on the bullrush, but college coaches will want to see more variety come this fall. Can't find him on Twitter, so I am very intrigued on his recruitment this fall.
