August Rankings Release: 2028 Quarterbacks

<p>We have officially released the rankings for the class of 2028 in the state of Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2028 quarterbacks with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position, including other segments. Welcome to High School.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1137824' first='Kingston' last='Burnett'], a dual-threat quarterback for Baptist Prep, is ranked number one in our initial rankings. Throughout the tough summers and workouts, Burnett showcases a very good work ethic and leadership ability in and out of the huddle. The highly anticipated quarterback displays good footwork within the pocket with a strong and balanced base while stepping into his throws with good torque. He has good arm strength and accuracy at all field levels (short, intermediate & deep), leading his receivers with good anticipation and ball placement. Burnett has good pocket mobility with poise, keeping his eyes down the field and evading pressure. Solid processing of coverages and displays the ability to perform multi-read progressions successfully. Washington displays solid footwork within the pocket with a strong and balanced base and steps into his throws with good torque to generate good velocity on the football, showcasing his arm strength. He demonstrates good ball placement and anticipation through all levels of the field, putting his receivers into YAC opportunities. The pro-style quarterback displays solid footwork within the pocket, showcasing good technique with a quick release that generates good velocity to fit the ball into tight windows. He can hit all three levels of the field with solid ball placement and anticipation. Gaines showcases good arm talent, especially on deep throws. He displays good pocket mobility inside and can get outside the pocket to evade pressure with solid footwork. He demonstrates a quick release on the ball, generating good velocity to thread the ball through tight windows at all levels. Stokes displays solid footwork and pocket mobility, able to slide in and out of the pocket, evade pressure, and keep his eyes down field. His ball placement allows receivers to catch in stride and gain additional yards.
