Taking a look at recent 2027 player rankings prospects #11-15 we see plenty of positional diversity and a lot of potential. I look at this grouping as players I know have a high skill set and tons of potential, but I need to see them prove it on the field this season. A lot of these guys saw the field but are in position to take the next step as a main player for their teams this season, so we expect big years from them. If they play up to their potential we could certainly see them move up the rankings in the future.

An added note: Since the 2027 Rankings originally came out, the #14 rated prospects has transferred out of the state. Thus player [player_tooltip player_id='423015' first='Justin' last='Dixon'] (#15) is now moved up to the #14 slot and [player_tooltip player_id='1348739' first='Jaiden' last='Lindsay'] (#16) is now the current #15 prospect even if their player cards to not currently reflect it.

Anthony played mostly on JV last season at RB/WR/DL and you can see his size, length and athleticism at play. At 6'4" with arms past his knees and a lean frame that will fill out in no time, it is no wonder Sweeney holds 7 total offers already with four of them being Power 4.

I saw Anthony during practice last fall and recently during GC's first scrimmage of this year. He moves like a top level player, fluid stride good bend and burst. He comes off the edge well and can see his development at the DE position. Uses his length to his advantage, flashes a rip move and able to reach out to get hands on the QB. You have to like the potential in Anthony's game, with more bulk/strength added his frame he can be a force at the position.

https://twitter.com/TankManBeast

Braelon is a player I've been watching since before his freshman year in 7v7s, practices, games, and most recently at the National Preps Spring Showcase. He recently transferred from Boys Latin to MSJ and will have to sit out a chunk of the year due to MIAA rules. Never want to see a player get less action on film so Braelon will have to show out this year when he gets his chances.

Last year at BL he played both sides of the ball, but his home will be made on defense. Naturally smooth as CB in his backpedal & in transition, he showed polished technique for a freshman. Braelon as fluid hips able to turn & run with no loss of momentum, stays in phase and attached to the receiver's hip. This allows him to be in good position to make plays on the ball. Athletic player overall, he goes up and gets it and shows strong hands. Good size at 6'1" for a CB or S, Braelon is a prospect that should be getting some strong interest from colleges after his sophomore year.

https://twitter.com/4problemz____/status/1821337225067438340

Myles comes to Spalding after playing last season at St. Johns (DC), and I have been able to see him live multiple times over the last year. Currently holding 7 offers and five from Power 4 schools, Myles looks to have a strong season as part of a loaded AS offense.

What you see first out of Myles game is that he is a crisp route runner. Able to stem his routes, stick his foot in the ground drop his weight and make strong quick cuts/change of direction. He is able to create space and separation for himself and find open space. Myles is nimble and fluid on his feet with oily hips he is able to just slide past defenders and away from tackles. Myles also tracks the ball very well and able to make an acrobatic catch. A lot things to like in Myles games and is easily at play for the the top WR in his class.

https://twitter.com/MylesScrap

Justin is a player I am very high on and can't wait to see him live in game action this fall. Having transferred to Concordia after playing at DeMatha last fall as their JV QB, Justin looks to take over as the starter for Concordia this season and have himself a big sophomore season.

I was able to Justin throw this spring at one of Concordia's workouts and came away very impressed with what I witnessed. Justin possesses good size & frame for the position. Tall and solid muscle build with broad shoulders...should still be growing and will put on good weight. He has a strong arm, can deliver the ball with good velocity and push it vertically. Consistently zipped it on time and with anticipation in routes on air. Looked the part of an offer QB in workouts and one college agreed so far as Justin picked up a UMD offer this summer. Justin is certainly in contention for the #1 QB spot in the 27 rankings, just need to see him do it live in big competition this fall.

https://twitter.com/JustinDixon10QB

Another GC prospect who got limited play as a freshman but looks to cement himself as a top prospect in the area this fall. Jaiden slides in as the starting RT for Good Counsel and I was able to see him earlier this week in GC's first scrimmage. He possesses nice size and build, and while playing RT this year I can see him being able to play anywhere along the OL. Athletic and light on his feet, Jaiden is able to handle himself against speed rushes in pass sets. He has a nice punch and hand technique, able to get into the defenders chest quickly and re-set his hands when needed. Jaiden shows good strength for his age as well. Able to anchor and sit stone-walling defenders in pass pro, as well as drive guys out of the play and bury them on run plays. Jaiden plays with some nasty and mean in his game which I love to see as well.

Jaiden currently holds two Power 4 offers and I expect plenty more to come his way after his fall. He will only become more dominant as he develops and gets stronger. Very deserving of being the #2 ranked OL prospect in his class and I can't wait to see more of his play this year.

https://twitter.com/_jaidenlindsay
