Harris checks in inside the top ten at the position in our updated rankings and is already a national recruit going into his Junior season. The Narbonne product holds offers from Georgia, Oregon State, Colorado State, Iowa State, Tennessee, UNLV and West Virginia among others. On film, he is an extremely athletic and twitchy defender that moves very well for his size, shows a quick use of hands and redirection, while able to rush the passer from a wide or interior position. Off the ball, he has a quick first step, natural bend off the edge and can dip under blockers while showing a strong strike and quick block recognition in the run game while able to set the edge and play violent with his hands. The Loyola product has long arms, covers a ton of ground quickly around the edge and can rush the passer with both power or speed and wins with violent hands and lockout at the POA. He is a high motor kid that plays with good pursuit, proper backside angles when closing and has some really nice upside and untapped potential over the next several years as he grows.
