There are a couple of different ways to end up on the watchlist, and the main one which a lot of these prospects fall under is they did not have varsity sophomore film. One of the things to watch out for in skill positions is what type of opportunity they may be coming into with older players on their teams transferring away or graduating. A lot of these prospects flash in limited varsity time, or I have seen live or gotten some positive feedback from their coaches, but they are definitely names to know heading into the season.

Falu is a player who I saw at CTC 7v7, and he should be the next big offensive weapon to come through James Monroe - Hampton remains the top WR in the state in this class, but with [player_tooltip player_id='527833' first='Amari' last='Colon'] graduating, Falu has the skillset to slot right into the Monroe offense. Falu is a different type of player from Colon and Hampton - he is super twitchy and quick and does an excellent job separating 1v1. No varsity film lands him on the watchlist but he is one of the top WR talents in Section V.

Sinclair had a few receptions on varsity last season, the emergence of Boakai Veikai, and having a freshman QB limited opportunities. Sinclair has a really solid camp/7v7 on Twitter(X) and was a solid performer for Monsignor Farrell's JV team before he joined Moore Catholic. With Moore Catholic losing their top 2 WRs, don't be surprised if Sinclair has a strong year.

Brooks was a player I was high on heading into last season. The Canarsie DB was a decent bright spot in what was a down year for them. He has 1 game of film posted, and it shows some solid movement skills. He was fairly effective at DB, with a couple of INTs for Canarsie. A stronger team should help the overall squad this season, but I think Brooks can make a lot of noise with his Junior tape.
